Beautiful hotel in city center
Reviewed 5 days ago

Spent 2 nights in this beautiful hotel & celebrated our anniversary. Staff were great & helped us line up walking tour in Madrid with certified tour guide. Go to Glass bar, esp. after dark, it' has amazing views & drinks are good too, they give snacks with drinks. Rooms ok, beds very comfy, bathrooms nice space & great water temp & pressure. Highly recommend

Amazing hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days...but I could have stayed longer!! From the moment we arrived we were truly welcomed. Over free cava , we were given so much useful information...which was spot on! Throughout our stay, service was 5*. We loved the roof terrace and the pool;fantastic to use after a days sightseeing. Also the glass bar was superb for cocktails, to end the evening. We will most definitely be back as you could fault the hotel, service and location. (we were able to walk everywhere!)

Great location

This hotel has much to offer overall and is in a great location. We were at most a 10-15 minute walk from many of the attractions of Madrid. We did not take advantage of the restaurants downstairs, but liked the service and overall help from the front desk.

Location, design and service

I like the location. From the Urban you can walk mostly in old Madrid, Sol, Sevilla, botanical..... I like the design and the art collection. I like the last floor terrace and Cebo and Glass - 2 of the best poch restaurants in Madrid. The issue for me is that they have only queen bed except with the suite.

Modern, smart but gloomy.

I stayed for two nights in early June. The Madrid sun was shining brightly outside, but you would have no way of knowing from my 'junior suite' (Room 554) which had a window onto the rather dark central atrium and no other. I didn't like the feeling of being in a sealed chamber. I cannot understand how it qualifies as a junior suite; it seemed to me to be a standard room with a sofa jammed into it. The location is good. The building is new and smart, but they are squeezing what they can from what is, in fact, not a good site, being overlooked and hemmed in. Perhaps it was the sharp change from a sea view room in Malaga, but I didn't like it at all, and couldn't wait to get out of the room.
