The Lowdown

A melting pot of grandiose cathedrals, vibrant nightlife, flamenco beats and a youthful energy, Madrid is one of Europe’s most exciting cities. Yet amid the bustle of art galleries, intimate tapas haunts, spectacular monuments and passionate locals, there are pockets of tranquility. Case in point: HRC Hotel.
This laid-back city base is tucked away in Madrid’s historic La Latina quarter. It’s hard to find fault with this convenient and fuss-free property, from its helpful concierge team and hearty breakfasts to its spacious rooms adorned with local artwork and plants. Outside this spot-on address, the city of Madrid awaits. Trail through the clothes, food and jewelry stalls of El Rastro Market and visit the San Francisco El Grande Basilica.

Very small room without individual air-condition, room is dusty as well including the curtain.Balcony in the 5th floor has a nice view and information was very helpful.5 miles from the metro. Location is easy to find and close to Mercado de San Miguel.

This small hotel is located ideally in area La Latina in Madrid, only few hundred meters
to old town and all the resultants there.

Close to the Cathedral, King´s castle, basically close to all the interesting things
you would visit in Madrid. And with walking distance.

The hotel itself is modest, the beds are VERY BASIC, the breakfast room is a
separate bar, but was functioning great.

We did book our hotel very late, which meant that the price was too high, but normally
the rate of this hotel is very affordable - if you book in good time.

Everything worked ok, don't expect too much as this is a 3 start - hotel.

But Location was great!
