A chic hotel featuring Sandra Tarruella guest rooms, with breakfast, a welcome drink and late check-out

The Lowdown

Madrid is often Barcelona’s overlooked little sister, but dig a little deeper and you’ll soon discover her distinct and winning charms. The city’s variety of intriguing offerings includes a range of striking architectural sights, from medieval houses to baroque palaces. Add an ever-growing culinary scene (that’s competing with Europe’s best) and tons of art, and you get a seriously mesmerizing destination – and one that’s definitely worth a visit.
Dear Hotel occupies an excellent spot in the city center, with a seasonal Sky Pool, which allows you to admire the surrounding rooftops while relaxing in the water. The adjacent solarium is the place to be during sunset, too, over a drink and some delectable tapas. The excellent service here extends to an “anytime” breakfast, taken in the comfort of your room, which you may want to take advantage of – the guest rooms here were designed by Sandra Tarruella, so you can expect effortlessly chic design throughout.

Rooms here are an aesthetic delight, with contemporary fixtures and fittings that nod to chic Scandinavian design. It’s no wonder the interiors here are so stylish – everything here was arranged by the experienced hands of Sandra Tarruella, renowned interior designer.

Dear Hotel Madrid is located just a stone’s throw from Plaza de España metro station on Gran Vía and is surrounded by the area’s vibrant restaurants and bars. Many of the city’s most popular sights are within walking distance, such as the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.

High standards, nice rooms and good service (the breakfast is incredible). The elevator was the only thing that was a bit slow due to it being in use all the time (there are 14 different floors). But overall nothing to complain about.

Amazing service

Great location, staff super nice and very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there. Thanks for a great weekend. Room a little on the small side and it was annoying one of the lifts was out of order but just meant we increased our steps.

Thank you for a great stay at Dear Hotel Madrid. The locating on is perfect and the hotel is just the right one for a nice weekend stay.
The women at the reception, especially Alicia and Vanessa gave us some super recommendations for restaurants and shopping. They are super friendly and turned our stay into a memorable experience.
The breakfast on the 14th floor with amazing views over Gran Via was delicious. Served by Luis and Jorge we had a couple of fun mornings in the breakfast lounge.
We Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid!

Best hotel in Madrid!!

We were in Madrid for 2 nights between friends (4). Dear Hotel is the best choice ever! Perfect location 10-20 minutes from every interesting place to see in Madrid. The rooms and the beds are big (we didn't even feel we were 2 people in bed). The bathroom as well. The skyroof terrasse is really nice with an amazing view on Madrid. The personnel is amazing. Everyone greets you with a smile and helps with any request you have. Breakfast is simply delicious with a lot of choice. Nothing negative to say (except maybe the waiting for the elevators). Thank you Dear Madrid for this wonderful stay!
