- Gazing over Madrid's rooftops from the luxurious swimming pool
- Enjoying a drink and tapas over sunset in the Sky Lounge
What To Know

- Rooms are quiet despite the hotel's location on the busy Grand Via
Madrid is often Barcelona’s overlooked little sister, but dig a little deeper and you’ll soon discover her distinct and winning charms. The city’s variety of intriguing offerings includes a range of striking architectural sights, from medieval houses to baroque palaces. Add an ever-growing culinary scene (that’s competing with Europe’s best) and tons of art, and you get a seriously mesmerizing destination – and one that’s definitely worth a visit.
Dear Hotel occupies an excellent spot in the city center, with a seasonal Sky Pool, which allows you to admire the surrounding rooftops while relaxing in the water. The adjacent solarium is the place to be during sunset, too, over a drink and some delectable tapas. The excellent service here extends to an “anytime” breakfast, taken in the comfort of your room, which you may want to take advantage of – the guest rooms here were designed by Sandra Tarruella, so you can expect effortlessly chic design throughout.
Rooms here are an aesthetic delight, with contemporary fixtures and fittings that nod to chic Scandinavian design. It’s no wonder the interiors here are so stylish – everything here was arranged by the experienced hands of Sandra Tarruella, renowned interior designer.
Dear Hotel Madrid is located just a stone’s throw from Plaza de España metro station on Gran Vía and is surrounded by the area’s vibrant restaurants and bars. Many of the city’s most popular sights are within walking distance, such as the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.
How to Get There
Our stay was great thanks to the amazing staff, especially Vanessa :-)
The hotel is clean and very well located on Gran Via. Still very quiet.
Nice rooftop bar and small pool.
Will come back for sure next Time!
Perfect and perfect situated Hotel! Friendly and professional staff. Pool is small but its city Center.
You will like it on your trip to madrid! Perfect noise reducing windows, if you close you will hear nothing from outside.
Realy nice hotel on the best location. Within minutes you are in the hart of the city. Great service from Ana and Esther at the reception who were realy flexible when we asked to stay a bit longer in our room before check-out. Thanks again!
My travel agent booked the wrong dates which I noticed immediately. I contacted the hotel and they were unwilling to change the dates. This cost me $450. This would cost them nothing to change the dates and they would have a future customer as I travel to Madrid often. Instead they have a customer that will never stay there.
We absolutely loved this hotel. There’s a metro stop right outside it and really easy to get from the airport to the metro stop.
The ladies when we arrived on the Friday night (so sorry we didn’t get your names!) were so friendly and helpful. We got a free room upgrade and some amazing restaurant recommendations throughout our stay.
The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfy. There will little treats to welcome us and free bottles of water every day.
The hotel is so central, 10 minute walk to the palace and the San Miguel food market.
Lovely views from the rooftop bar and plunge pool. Great for young people who like a good photo for instagram.
Will definitely be recommending this place to others!
