A little far but LOVED it!

We stayed in both the Urban (economy double) and the Urban Deluxe rooms, so I will include both in this review.

Starting with the location - yes, it's a little out of the way, but don't let that deter you from booking this delightful place. Uber is easily available in Madrid and very affordable. We also took the metro a couple of times, and the station is about 5 mins away on foot. There is a bus-stop right in front of the hotel, so distance is not a problem. The lovely experience of this hotel begins as soon as you enter. The people at the reception are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Check in and check out was very easy and quick.

Coming to the rooms, the Urban Deluxe room was spacious and well furnished. The Urban one was obviously more compact, but tastefully done up and not cramped. The hotel offers a 'pillow menu' with some six different types of pillows - unreal! The bathrooms were both good with a lot of space in the shower area - something not necessarily the case with most European hotels. The difference between Urban and Urban Deluxe rooms is visible here in the choice of cosmetics! The Urban bathroom has standard toiletries, and funnily, no conditioner. The Urban Deluxe bathroom has more luxurious toiletries, which I liked a lot more.

The hotel offers the option to order a yoga mat & weights to the room for a workout, which was an excellent option if you don't wish to use the gym. Just keep in mind you need to book these, even though there is no cost. Breakfast buffet is very different from most other hotels - they focus a lot of healthy options, and offer superfood granolas, smoothie bowls, breads with different grains, etc. which was great. And then of course, coming to the amazing 'Green Fridge'. I did read about this and assumed it to be similar to a vending machine, with some quick snacks. Boy, was I wrong! This thing is well stocked with salads, pastas, fruit, dessert, sodas, even wine! I was extremely surprised by the amount of food stocked in there. You can easily have a nice lunch for free - which we did almost everyday.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great stay. Please book it without any hesitation.

Great hotel!

We had a layover in Madrid and booked this hotel as it is 10 min drive from airport. It is clean, friendly and they had food out in the common area! I will stay here again in a heartbeat! Check in and check out were a breeze and parking on premises.

I return to this hotel every time I'm in Madrid

I travel for business to Madrid a lot and always choose to stay in this hotel. The overall quality is very good and there is a special atmosphere inside that is different from your usual business hotel experience while not being obtrusive.

Modern, Relaxed, Great!

Very clean, modern and fresh hotel. Friendly staff who speak good English with nice rooms made this a very comfortable stay. Brilliant light bite buffet, which is provided FREE - How often do you get something for nothing!!
I would be happy to stay in an Artiem Hotel in the future.

Excellent Hotel

A really excellent experience. Rooms very clean and spacious, restaurant to have breakfast with excellent food and service, people at the reception very nice. They have a small longe to chillout with all included in the room price. It is an excellent option to stay in Madrid. Clients should only decide if the location suits their needs. Thank you!!
