How to Get There
First of all I understand everyone has their own opinion and everyone has different standards but I have to say - don’t believe all the bad reviews about this hotel!!
First impressions - hotel doesn’t look anything special from outside the main entrance but the inside is completely different - looks classy, spacious, tasteful decor. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Our room was on the 7th floor and had an amazing sea view. (No bother getting a lift whenever we chose to use them). There was plenty of space, really comfortable (huge) bed and lots of wardrobe space. The room was cleaned every day and never had any housekeeping issues. Towels and bedding changed every few days.
Pool area was great, always kept clean and we never had an issue getting a sunbed and an umbrella although we were usually up and out quite early. Obviously the pool area wasn’t as busy as it would be during the summer months but even people coming down later in the morning were able to get beds most days. Towels are provided by the hotel for a €10 refundable deposit and then at a charge of €1 whenever you wanted a fresh one.
Food in the main restaurant was generally good with plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was a different theme each evening. There was also a good range of snacks from the pool bar. We would’ve preferred to be able to get our own drinks in the restaurant as it could be hard to get the staff’s attention if you needed a refill at lunch or dinner.
The à la carte restaurant was fantastic, we had amazing steaks both times we went (which we paid a small surcharge for but they were worth it).
Range of drinks from the pool and lobby bars was good and had named brands; cocktails were slushies as opposed to real cocktails but they weren’t bad either.
99% of the staff were really friendly and helpful but one or two could do with some customer service training but I guess that’s the same everywhere you go.
Entertainment staff were great, never tried to force you into doing any activities but always stopped for a chat.
The evening entertainment really isn’t great, (apart from Mr Sister who was hilarious) and it certainly doesn’t last long enough - if you are all inclusive then you generally want to stay in the hotel and sitting having a drink in complete silence is not a great atmosphere. At least have some music on!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, about a 15-20 minute walk to Las Americas and 2 mins from the beach and the various bars and restaurants along the seafront in Adeje. Also 5 mins walk from the bus stop for Siam Park which is a good day out.
Yes there are improvements which could be made here and there but I have no major complaints and I would definitely return as this is a really lovely hotel in a brilliant location.
Not good so far booked a room with a balcony/terrace, we have neither, phoned the reception told not available until tomorrow so we can't unpack/relax .We phoned the JET2 number and explained the situation I was told that we would receive a call back.Still waiting , not happy so far, keep watching this space as I won't let this drop .
All inclusive was not expecting food to be so good great choice and good quality. Hotel in great location and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly would definitely return great value for money
