How to Get There
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! What a wonderful establishment, from top to bottom. The staff went above and beyond from day one. Polly made a particularly incredible impression, and did everything (and more) in her power to make our stay one we would not forget. Mission accomplished Polly! And thank you! - The rooms are very nicely appointed and clean, the restaurant serves excellent food, and the rooftop deck with bar and pool is beautiful. We will be back!
Stayed 1 night to take in the town and enjoy the vibe. I've gotta say, it was pretty cool. Nice lobby and friendly staff who had us checked in quickly and recommended we check out the views from the rooftop bar. Had a great room on the 5th floor faces the city. Some might think it was a little noisy, the hotel had foam earplugs in the drawer beside the bed. I didn't think it was at all bothersome. There is a pretty busy Mexican cantina within several hundred feet though. The layout of the room was quite nice. A small couch and chair really added a upscale feel to it. Bathroom was surprisingly large with a walk in shower and a great tub to soak in. Did take the front desk's advice and check out the roof, very scenic and a great place to enjoy a drink and take in the view. The pool is also located up there, which works out good. Didn't eat in the restaurant or order room service so i can't comment on those things. parking was sparse, but were had a spot. Location is outstanding. We were able to walk to a very vibrant downtown area that had probably a dozen places to eat and grab a drink. Stayed a Saturday evening and walked to dinner then wandered around to a couple of other spots. Even at 1030 - 1100 the places were quite busy and the area felt safe. I can't wait to come back and spend more time here. Very romantic and well worth the price.
We had to make our way from the east coast of Florida for a family emergency so we weren’t here for pleasure but we DID want a place that we could enjoy after at the end of a couple of stressful days. The location is perfect, the place is clean, modern and well appointed. The roof top lounge is awesome with its glittery views and glass fire pits and the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. This hotel has a particular gem named Margaret S who has a lovely smile, is a very quick problem solver and never lets a guest walk by without a warm greeting. We have been in the hotel and hospitality industry a very long time and a staff member of the caliber should always be acknowledged. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
My son and wife celebrated their 30th anniversary at the 88 Keys in the Wyvern. So we spent the night. The staff at the party was exceptional and the buffet was very tasty. The front desk was very accommodating getting us checked in early. I was a bit surprised that the rooms were not bigger but they were adequate with a large bathroom and lights that dimmed. Beds were comfortable. We had a bit of noise to contend with on the south side due to the restaurant/bar next to the hotel. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. (Breakfast was not included and $$$ so we ate elsewhere).
The pool on the roof caught my eye. The rooftop bar for lunch and tapas were outstanding. The hotel service was friendly and knowledgeable. They have a piano bar in the restaurant, next visit we'll have to try it out. The breakfast at the restaurant was more than enough to share. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. Great views! I highly recommend this hotel for a getaway.
