Much better than expected
Reviewed 15 hours ago

To be honest I was not expecting a lot due to some photos I saw in a brochure. I could not have been more wrong. The rooms are spacious and have a brilliant sea view from the bed and the shower. It feels like you are on the beach. Plenty of nice, comfortable sunbed. Great beach. Adequate pool. The staff go out of their way for you and the food was excellent!

Lovely hotel with beautiful sea views

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Shinagawa Beach and we had a wonderful time. The hotel isn't very big so feels nicely intimate and the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The position of the hotel is what dreams are made of - right on a beautiful beach and all rooms seem to have a sea view, perfect for watching the sunset with a G&T in hand. Its also close enough (a short tuk tuk ride to a number of attractions). We celebrated our 1st anniversary during our stay and were treated to a lovely candlelit dinner on the beach. A special mention should go to one of the waiters Malinda who greeted us with a big smile (and remembered our names) every time we saw him and he couldn't help us enough, he is a credit to the hotel.

A relaxing beach stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful 9-nights family vacation at Shinagawa Beach. The deluxe rooms are spacious, and ours was very comfortable for us three. The rooms are serviced twice a day, which was brilliant given all the sand we brought back from the beach each day. All the usual luxury amenities were available to us, and the TV offered a nice range of channels in decent quality, as well as a big selection of on-demand free-to-view movies, which came in handy.

The food at their restaurant Salt, was brilliant. The buffet breakfast was a treat every morning, and an extensive menu offed an endless selection of lunches and dinners, which we enjoyed in our room/balcony as well as in the restaurant. We also had a beautiful pool-side al fresco dining experience on our last night, and they also cater for what smelt like a great BBQ on the beach!

This is a boutique resort on a beautiful little stretch of coastline. The staff were very attentive, and even the locals were very helpful. There are a few things to do in the area, but we really just loved that beach... a short walk down it was a natural rock pool as well.

Highly recommended, and we certainly look forward to returning soon.

Lovely Stay!

We stayed 2 nights in one of the 2 suites. The room & facilities are really good. Balcony from the room gives a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean which makes it even better during sunset. Room has ample space with a living area, spacious closet and a stunning mirrored bathroom.

We booked half board package. The food was amazing. Compliments to the head chef and team. The guys who served in the bar and restaurant are very kind and helpful. We are really sorry we can’t remember their name. Staff are really kind.

Celebrated my birthday, the two ladies who worked in the reception were so helpful to my husband in organizing special decorations in the room.

Little constructive comment: The gym needs some modifications as that might become one disadvantage for the hotel.

Overall our 2 nights stay was perfect! Thank you management and the entire team. See you next time.
