How to Get There
Excellent service, food was overall very good and the rooms were ample with beautiful white linens and towels. quiet at night, we were able to get together with the family outdoors and have fun.
the amenities in the bathroom were excellent quality. two bottles of water delivered daily and the room was very clean.
Great luxurous hotel outside the centre of Oaxaca City. Shuttle bus from the hotel can bring you there easily. Great atmosphere, very helpful personnel, Beautiful rooms where you can defitely rest. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Relax and enjoy!
This little gem is tucked away in one of Oaxaca’s nicest neighborhoods, a 15-minute drive from downtown. It’s not surprising that the staff is so caring, attentive and friendly, as the owner is on-property all the time, looking after her guests. The rooms (and especially the bathrooms) are very clean and with all the amenities, such as bathrobes and slippers.
While the spa is tiny, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well equipped it is and how professional and well-trained the therapists are.
We asked the hotel to arrange two full days of private tours in and around Oaxaca and our guide was one of the best guides we’ve had anywhere, so make sure you ask for him by name: Jorge Grijalva.
Now, the best part: the food! It was indeed glorious! especially the typical Oaxaca breakfast dishes and their different types of moles, which are definitely some of the best in the city. for breakfast, must have a traditional water hot chocolate and dip a “concha” sweet bread in it!
I just visited the hotel for three nights and found the rooms to not only be very cozy, but also with plenty of room to hang and store all my clothes. The water pressure was great and I could of stayed in the shower hours. Also the marble floors were always warm so that entering into the bathrooms to be comfortable. Slept good and the restaurant was delicious. Try the enfrijoladas that are extraordinary. This hotel even has a karaoke night club in the basement that you would never imagine because you can’t hear it in the hotel. The spa delicious. Really enjoyed it!
The hotel is small and quaint.
The staff is friendly. My room was however noisy until after 1 am when the bar downstairs closed. So it was difficult to sleep.
My room included breakfast, but then it was limited to only part of the menu, which seemed a nfair.
The location is not good if you don’t have a car. It is far from the city center where all the restaurants are. He WiFi in my room was not useable.
