This has to be the best hotel we've ver stayed in. Very large, comfortable room and en-suite. The food was second to none, very well prepared gourmet food and very hard to fault in any respect. The staff were very antentive and friendly. The location is very secluded but only a 2 minute walk from the very picturesque town of Merano, which has many lovey shops, cafes and restaurants in the charming old town. There is also a superb pool complex called the Thermae, which has indoor and outdoor heated pools. Fantastic hotel spa, pool and garden area make for a very relaxing atmosphere.

High quality hotel in a nice area.

tranquility in the center

I sought a centrally located but quiet and not too big 5* hotel in Meran: and found it 100%! This property is run by the owner, who was very often present - and it shows! Arriving by car I was assigned a space in the garage (no extra cost); check in was smooth and fast - and with personal attention that I enjoyed throughout the entire stay! I decided to have dinner included every day (they called it "3/4 pension" as a lunch snack is also included), each meal was a fantastic (I was looking forward to it the whole day each day...). Food was always top quality (e.g. omelet made of real eggs and not syrup from a can...). Waiters were attentive and very friendly. Nice and spacious pool (with connecting inside/outside section). I liked their beds. Could safely walk to the center of town within 5 - 10 min.
Was very sad to leave - and will return ASAP!

By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in...so much so that we have returned 12 times!! The staff are first rate, the accommodation is superb, the grounds immaculate, and the food is simply outstanding! A real paradise in the Tyrol...quality at every turn...

Not happy :-/

Everything was okay until we came back from our lovely dinner. I noticed that one of the 2 pieces of 50 Euros I put in my backpack was missing. I kept those Euros aside so that I can give them to my (Tourist) parents as gifts (their room was just beside ours!). It was supposed to be given to them after dinner! That`s why I noticed it quickly!! So I reported it immediately but did not hear from them so I asked again the next night. As expected, they denied it, even said it was my fault. The old manager handled the situation poorly. Oh, I don`t need the money back by the way, but at least I can tell the truth here. P.S.The Hotel is great - sumptuous Menu, a relaxing, beautiful place! What happened was something beyond their control! I learned my lesson the hard way! Put everything in the safe!!!
