How to Get There
Hubby and I visited almost 6 months to the day. We chose this resort for two reasons - the beach has a live reef with wonderful snorkeling and the staff at the resort make the place stick out. We chose Sharm for the diving.
There was construction going on which the site where we booked did not mention nor did the website of the hotel.
Alonya and Mohamed Ezzat remembered us immediately from the first stay. The both worked hard to make the visit special. The hotel was pretty well booked due to a convention but we never had issues with waiting for anything.
The drinks at the bars are great and they updated their menu from the last time. Bartender remembered us and made us a special drink or two.
We had a beach cabana. Love the views and a chance to nap in the shade on a cosy bed while listening to the waves.
The food was good. After two weeks any place can get a bit repetitive. Breakfasts offer an egg station and various breads and fruits. There are cereals and yogurts. There is a salad bar. They make fresh falafel, potatoes and eggplant as well.
Lunches were varied depending on where you went. Pizza station, crepes, burgers and dogs by the beach, fish by the sea at Fluer de Lis. If you wanted to cover up, the buffet was available inside.
We tried the new Mediterranean Restaurant which was excellent. I had the Moroccan chicken and the rest had a grill dish which was delivered on an actual small grill. Very cool.
We also had the Indian one evening and it was just as good as the last time. I'd highly recommend it.
We tried the Italian Restaurant on site as well and it was also pretty good.
The opened Fleur de Lis for lunch as a part of the all inclusive so if you like grilled or deep friend fish while eating at a relaxed buffet ocean view, this is the place.
We brought friends with us who spoke Russian and German (I'm American and my husband is German) and we always got by with the staff with our various languages. They made my friend's birthday special with a great cake. He was thrilled.
The VIP reception for return guests was nice. Gaining access to a few hidden areas was also nice.
We did not get sick. This is a huge thing when you are diving and can not afford days being out of commission.
Everywhere takes American dollars or Euros at the same rate so with dollars you can save 10% on purchases.
I would stay here again. I would bring friends again.
The chef Ahmed Afifi and the chef Sherif made the best pizza at the hotel restaurant facilities! Who would it thought that in the middle of Sharm you can find such good Italian style dishes? Very good and highly recommended!!
Have visited this resort since I was 6. Always had the duration of 2 weeks which was plenty of time to relax and enjoy the activities around.
Beautiful resort with outstanding staff who go above and beyond. Private beach with great access to the Red Sea.
