The worst JW Marriott Club Floor experience I have ever experienced
Reviewed 1 day ago

Coming from a hotelier background and been staying in few JWs and other prestige hotel brands around the world, sad to say that this is the worst I ever experienced.

I don't know how here works but I definitely will not let my airport pickup club guest check in at the lobby.
I understand that it is Cocktail hours but please kindly clear the table instead of telling me that there is outdoor seats when the weather is cold?!
Came up for a coffee but apparently Nicole is more interested talking with the other guest about who she is coming with instead of assisting with my coffee, she just told me in an unpleasant tone, the coffee is here. Thank you but I lost my entire mood. Supposedly for my birthday trip but it totally ruined it.

Luckily for Gary and Eddie, if not it would have been 1 star rating.

I am sorry but I believed you would have done better.

A Joy

This hotel was recommended to me by Korean friends. I was sceptical first about the location, which I thought too "touristy." Then I asked if it was worth the extravagance in a city teeming with 4-star hotels offering excellent value for money. "Just stay there," they said. So, dear readers, I did. Above all, perhaps. the staff made me feel happy. I am a (lower) intermediate-level Korean speaker, so I tended to start to start conversations in Korean. They were all smiles and, even though their English was obviously better than my Korean, they continued speaking in their native language. The view from my room, of Dongdaemun and the old Hanyang City Wall, was wonderful. And the breakfast for me was perfect. I love Korean food, and can happily eat it for both lunch and dinner for months - but not always at breakfast. As it turned out both the western and Korean options (including abalone porridge one morning) seemed almost designed personally for me. It's a measure of the sheer joy generated by this hotel that I really didn't mind about the minor niggles with the room. It looked a little worn in places, if the truth be told, and I am not sure the TV was working properly. But it was immensely comfortable, and it felt very spacious, even though I had booked the most basic category of room. I still don't like the precise location of the hotel amid all the trooping tourists. Yet I loved the hotel.

Perfect hotel with perfect location

Room was excellent.
-Size of the room was bigger than normal hotel in Seoul. The room was very clean with full entertainment. View of the room was good
-Size of bath room was big. In bathroom they provide TV, Bathtub. Separate toilet and shower area was met my need. Also, they provide you a hair dryer and hair stretcher in bathroom. The size of wardrobe quite big and very functional. They put iron and ironing board in wardrobe.
Location
-100 m. from DongDaeMun Station which is perfect
Service
-Good service from Housekeeping and Front Desk
Food
-I did not try any food in the hotel because I bought the room as RO

Excellent hotel. Very good service

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It has been very pleasant consistently. Rooms are nice and very clean. Buffet (breakfast and dinner) and main restaurant are both excellent. The rooftop bar is quite boring, consistently too, but its service is good. Very good hotel choice in Seoul. Lastly, i would point out that Kevin and Jessica at the reception are doing a great job!!

That was a great dinner!

I went to Tavolo24 for the first time, and the staff explained the buffet section in a friendly way, so I was able to enjoy dinner with the staff's careful consideration during the meal.
It was an impressive service for the staff to get what I needed right away.
I think the dinner was good for the price.
