How to Get There
Great Hotel service expecially when celebarate our weeding anniversary and when check in we got surprised by wine at the room, so it was romantic suroounding,
All is perfect except condition of air con, air con is centralised and cannot set up by our own so feeling rather hot.
Stayed at the Ambassador for a whole week and I cannot say enough good things about the service we received! The hotel is not anywhere central to where you want to be but the train station is only a 5 minute walk down the hill. The hotel also offers shuttle service to most of the main areas we wanted to go to! Taxis were cheap and highly recommended otherwise expect a ton of walking!
Service 5 out of 5!
I came to South Korea with a hurt knee and had asked for ice every night from the bakery before they closed! Hye ju Kim was always very kind and no matter how busy she was she always gave me my ice right away so I can walk the next day! You really can tell that she cared and was very hospitable!
Peter the elevator man remembered my name with the limited English he spoke and always greeted my family with a smile! Very professional!
Cleanliness 5 out of 5!
The old Korean lady works like crazy! Our room was cleaned every single day as if we first entered our room for the very first time! City view was wonderful! The bathrooms were a little outdated but came with toto toilet bidets like the ones offered in Japan!
Hint****One thing to note as foreigners you might not like the firmness of the Korean beds! I had to get extra pillows to sleep under because the first few days felt like sleeping on a rock!
Amenities 5 out of 5
The pool area was a little small but the gym was great for all the exercises I did! The best part about this is that they have a indoor golf range for you to hit golf balls during your stay!
The Bakery is probably the best thing they have there! Fresh bread daily with seasonal juices! Highly recommended!**
The Buffett and sushi Place looked pretty good but we didn’t actually go and have a meal!
The one time we did try to go to the Chinese Michelin recommended restaurant we had reservations! As we sat down the waitresses completely ignored us and left us for 20 minutes without getting our order or giving us any service! We left severely disappointed and got Korean bbq down the street!
All in all it was an amazing experience and stay! I would recommend anyone coming to South Korea to stay at the Grand Ambassador SEOUL w/ Pullman. Either you are by yourself or with your family the service here is impeccable!
We enjoyed our stay. The food available in premier lounge for breakfast and happy hour was excellent. Even better was that all food was hot instead of lukewarm. The location is a little bit out of the center of the town. Therefore the hotel offered shuttle bus once per hour to the downtown location. We tried it and found it working
