It’s almost always sunny at East Bay Resort, a brand-new luxury property set among an aquatic sanctuary in one of the world’s most sought-after islands, and the retreat is well aware of the generally cooperative weather conditions. As a guest here, you’ll be welcome to borrow a kayak or paddle board, as well as snorkel gear, or dive to the depths of the Caribbean Sea and see the famous underwater wall. Adrenaline junkie? Throw caution to the tradewinds, and try kite surfing. Deep-sea fishing and hovercraft tours are also on offer.
And when it comes time to take it easy, the award-winning beaches (a one-mile stretch of the protected Cockburn Harbor National Park), just steps away from your guestroom, are a more intimate side of paradise. The oceanfront pool is its own peaceful sanctuary, with a swim-up bar, light fare and loungers with a view. There’s also surf-’n’-turf BLU Restaurant, where you can order a seafood dish, enjoy the stunning vistas, breathe in the salty sea air and listen to the crashing waves – East Bay’s a resort for all senses, as well as all seasons.
Accommodations at East Bay Resort each showcase modern décor and plush bedding, with a cable TV and a spacious bathroom. In the suites, you’ll enjoy a contemporary living space, full kitchen and large balcony as well. Beachfront suites are 592 roomy square feet, whereas the One Bedroom suites up the ante with 688 square feet for you to stretch out in. For even more space and incredible ocean views, opt for the Two Bedroom Corner Beachfront suite.
BLU Restaurant offers delicious cuisine, from breakfast to dinner, and stunning ocean views. A diverse surf-and-turf menu features dishes like white-tiger prawns poached in mango frond, lobster fettucine and chocolate-amaretto mousse. For poolside bar snacks, Splash (a reference to an ancient mermaid allegedly spotted by pirates visiting the island) serves light fare, like a tasty grilled-vegetable sandwich and ciabatta caprese.
An eight-and-a-half-square-mile plot of land that’s home to just 900 people, South Caicos is one of the most beautiful islands within the Turks and Caicos. Known for its perfect beaches, abundant sea life, magnificent diving, fresh seafood, rich history and reputation as the nation’s fishing capital, this tropical retreat is a dream for anyone yearning for paradise. The destination has plenty to see and do along its crystal-clear waters and among its protected wildlife, including water sports like snorkeling and kayaking, as well as beach-bumming on the sandy shores.
How to Get There
This resort is incredible, the beach, the meal, the atmosphere, the activities and the view!!! Where ever you are; the pool, the bar, the restaurent, your room; you always have a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean. I give 100% for the service that they provide. My family and I went to East Bay Resort and we have a running joke that we hope the resort looks like what the pictures show. We were pleasantly surprised not only did it meet our expectation but it exceeded it. The view was beautiful, the property was modern and clean. Plus the staff, specifically Bert, was amazing, we had fantastic service. Would go back in a heart beat.
My family and I had a wonderful weekend in South Caicos at East Bay. The service was impeccable, the management was personalized as they catered to each guest and the views were absolutely beautiful. We definitely want to return one day!
My wife and I Went for a great escape not only to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary but also to spoil ourselves with a delightful "romantic getaway".
Initially our plan is to spend only 5 days...but after the second day,we realised that the East Bay Resort was an endless rainbow of daily new discoveries and unbelievable moments that the staff lead by a turbo-duo leadership team of Cherif Benchalal (the CEO ) & his General Manager Bert had put for us to be totally delighted. We had also the unique opportunity to be exposed to "Barracuda Dundee",someone that you need to meet and to take advantage of the Sea-Ecological -Tour" ,so that you can uncover the wonders of East Bay resort such as these friendly majestic Eagle rays,or these sublime starfish and its "paradisaical beaches"...I would love to share more with you but words would never be able to explain " moments" these moments that only the heart can feel....
My husband and I were looking for the perfect place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and we found it. This is a 5 star luxurious resort offering many excursions a real gem on a private beach.
