The Lowdown

High up in the Pyrenees, the tiny mountain country of Andorra is best known for its impressive skiing, but offers much to delight all year round. Overlooking the lovely Ordino Valley in El Serrat, Xalet Bringué Hotel & Spa will lift your spirits in more ways than one. It’s crafted from traditional stone and wood, with a chalet-style architecture that lends it an authentic ambience and blends beautifully with the mountain scenery. Interiors are up to date, however, and exude a sleek, modern designer feel.
Gourmands, spa-lovers and nature-buffs will all be in seventh heaven here, as the hotel boasts a delightful panoramic restaurant, destination spa and access to a plethora of hiking trails, some reached by way of cable cars in the neighboring ski resort of Vallnord Ordino-Arcalis. After an invigorating and exhilarating day out in the fresh air, soothe hike-weary muscles in the spa’s Roman-style baths or with an Argan or mandarin oil massage. After a tasty dinner sampling delicious traditional dishes, retire to the stylish hotel lounge bar for a nightcap before padding up to your designer-style room.

Angry Manager
Reviewed 3 months ago

The old manager from the hotel came angry at me as I was using one of the floor towels to clean up my gears from clean white snow. Which I had previously requested and asked the receptionist if it was possible, and told me to do so.
That person went on threatening me to call the cops, screaming at my face in Spanish and gave us 5 min to leave the premises of the hotel.
He had also a bad attitude the first day we arrived at the hotel after our ski day, when we asked where to put the skis, as no one told us before. There was no previous conversation with him.
He should be ashamed of treating customers like that.

Apart from that one person, the other employees were really nice and the hotel itself is really pleasant.

Amazing food! Amazing staff! Great find for the money!

We recently stayed here, 2 couples, it is worth going half board, the food is amazing, the staff in the restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. All the staff here were lovely, the bar man and his great G&Ts!
You will need a car here but there is plenty of room on the road.
There is a great skiing resort 5 minutes away called Ordino-Arcalís, there is great snow here and then ValNord is 15 minutes away.
The spa is also very lovely, I do think that the spa should be included in the price of the hotel, apart from that I couldnt fault the place.
I will recommond this hotel to all of my friends and anyone I know visiting Andorra.
Thank you for all lovely stay :)

Great stop off

1 night is all you need here. Not because the place is bad, because there isnt anything around to do! And the terrace with the room is only small. Service is great , 4 spoken languages. Cafeteria is modern and clean. So are the rooms and restaurant. However i dont like the lighting, not enough in the bedroom and the rest of the inside of the hotel is felt tacky because of the lighting. Spa is limited, but quiet as they dont allow overcrowding, masseuse will find your aches and take them away! The rooms are really warm, great in winter ,but not great in august! Had to leave window open for fresh air. Beds are big and comfy, but the pillows are cheap and rubish. Amenities in the bathroom are ok. Views are just 1 mountain. Easy if your gona visit the lakes of tristaina, its about 30 min drive away. Restaurant is nice quality food a la cart, but drinks are expensive. Id recommend taking time out on the terrace of the cafeteria, great spot to relax and enjoy the view . Street parking wasnt a problem.

Simply beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings. The staff was nice and helpful, the food in the restaurant amazing. Everything was well kept, and the entire hotel has a very warm and personal feel. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I would recommend this for everyone.

Luxurious hotel

Nice hotel but more looking like a business hotel. The euro 15 menu was fine. It is strange that there os an entrance fee of euro 15 to the spa. The town consists of 3 hotels and is not Interesting. Nice starting point for several walks in the mountains. Bus stop at the entrance of the hotel. Busjes go each hour and cost euro 1.60.
