Indulge in a short getaway at Batam, a tropical island just 40 minutes away from Singapore. Here you’ll be able to relax and unwind at the sleek Hotel Radisson Golf & Convention Centre. The gleaming structure, surrounded by manicured fields of green, offers an unobstructed view of clear skies and greenery.
Start your day with a round of golf at the nearby Padang Golf Sukajadi. Then return to the contemporary-style hotel to unwind. Take a dip in the hotel’s stunning infinity pool, or if you want to get out of the sun, head to the glass-encased, sheltered pool. Guests also have access to hoverboard and archery classes. A soak in the whirlpool tub and a visit to Zoysia Spa for a massage will complete your perfect weekend.
There are also plenty of shopping centres around the area, from the nearby Kepri Mall, to BCS Mall and Nagoya Hill Mall. You’ll have plenty to do here.
How to Get There
This is my 2nd stay at Radisson. My 1st stay was in Jun 2018 & it was such a perfect stay that I decided to return with my parents in law & my Wife Sister to let them experience this wonderful experience from Radisson. But very unfortunate things did not turn out well starting from our arrival.
1.Transport pick up at ferry terminal. 2 days before my arrival, I have wrote to Radisson that we have 6 pax & 3 big luggage & 1 Golf bag & that we need 2 cars. I recd email back from Radisson that they have took note of this arrangement. But on day of our arrival, only 1 car turn up. Driver informed us that hotel only arrange for 1 car. As expected, we could not all travel in 1 car to the hotel. We have to wait in the car park under the hot sun for close to 20 mins for another car to arrive to send us all together to the hotel. On our arrival, there is no apology from front office.
2.Only Executive Suite Room is available for check in. We have to wait for close to 2 hrs for another room to be ready.
3.We could not access one of the room on 2 days due to flat battery. Front office make us look like a fool as we have to return twice to change for access card. My Wife has to went down again & it was finally that door battery is flat. It’s so frustrating getting all the wrong update with 2 elderly waiting to rest in the room.
4.I went to play Golf twice & no one inform me I could get hotel to do the booking to enjoy special rate
5.We have 3 pax in each room with a rollaway bed & daily after room make up, we only get 2 set of toothbrushes & toothpaste. We always have to call housekeeping to get another 2 set of toothpaste & toothbrush.
We were very upset & disappointed with our stay this time at Radisson. It is definitely not a wonderful experience as compare to our first stay. It’s not the Radisson experience that I expected.
I was having a family getaway and stayed at this hotel . On the way to the hotel we passed by some shops nearby the hotel. So in the evening , decided to take a short walk to the shops. We just decided to go there on our own . But as we walked about 100 meters from the lobby , one of the staff from the Hotel came with a buggy and enquired where we were going. Upon telling him , he said , please get on the buggy , I will drop you there .
My family and myself was truly impressed by the staff and their hotel concierge team !! We didn't ask anyone for directions or even talked to the staff , but someone to notice their hotel guests walking and making the effort to come and pick up , was truly amazing experience.

We had an excellent one week stay in this classy hotel staffed by friendly and professional individuals. Two beautiful infinity pools, one indoors on the 10th floor of the hotel and the other facing the golf course; saunas are also available on the 10th floor. Bed was super comfortable made up with crisp white bed linens. Room was always cleaned promptly and spotlessly. Breakfast was delicious with many options; the staff serving made to order eggs did an excellent job. We used the free comfortable air conditioned shuttle into town on 3 separate occasions. We also enjoyed having complimentary laundry service of 2 pieces a day. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel.
Has booked a stay for 3 days 2 nights on 15th Dec thru Agoda. However my request for adjoining rooms was not conveyed to the hotel earlier as I have with me 1 child n 2 elderly parents. I had booked n paid for 2 Deluxe rooms (to be adjoining). To my horror, upon check in, discovered that the agency had booked 1 Deluxe + 1 Superior instead but I was made to pay for 2 Deluxe! This is thru no fault of the hotel n the lady at the guest reception (her name is Eva, if I remember correctly) was very patient n nice to help me to find rooms (of course, I had to top up the difference even though I had been charged by agency) that were close by since the hotel was fully booked for the weekend. We have a good relaxing stay at the hotel which all of us enjoyed so much despite the mishap during check in. Yes, I am writing my review in the hotel now. Next time will book with hotel directly n no Agoda for me!
First time in batam hotel with clean and White towels and bedsheets. Hotel location is compensated with availability of free shuttle van services to shopping malls. There's also free buggy rides services to nearby kerpi mall. Would not recommend walking to kerpi mall as it looks like it will take 15 mins to reach there. Beds are soft and comfortable. Everything is good except that we were given a twin bed instead of a requested king size bed due to availability issues.
