How to Get There
My wife and I recently visit the spa. This was one of the most relaxing experience I had in a while. The therapist are super experience and the staff is friendly and professional. The facilities are beautiful specially the pool that plays music. We will be coming back soon.
I had a great solo vacation to Sonoma and stayed at this lovely resort. It was great to be at larger hotel while travelling alone. Felt safe and there were plenty of places to hang outside of my room. The staff made me feel right at home and had great suggestions for activities in the area. Visited the di Rosa Preserve, Artesa Winery and the Jack London State Park. Great food and drink in the hotel and Sonoma. The room was comfortable and quiet. So pleased I chose to treat myself here. Will do it again as I can.
There is something uniquely beautiful about this property in the way it combines classic charm with a modern style. This is one of the best places to experience the beauty of Northern California. The staff was excellent--kind, helpful, and professional (especially manager Mary, who was an absolute joy to work with). My favorite part of the visit was the gorgeous spa, which has excellent amenities and features that made our visit a truly unforgettable experience.
Excellent accommodations and service. Everyone was professional, kind and the in room service was timely. We come back regularly and it is always consistent. It has beautiful accommodations and lobby with an amazing spa.
Hotel staff and valets were excellent. Curtesy car, wine tasting and yoga classes a very nice services. Extremely disappointed that hotel pool and hot tub close at 5:30 PM.
Spa (reason for our visit): Monday checked on available times for facials and scrubs for Monday afternoon, or anytime on Tuesday or Wednesday. No availability except 60 min. massage on Wednesday afternoon. Declined message. Wednesday we paid $39 each to use the spa which included bathing ritual, steam room and sauna. We used the steam room and then we started the bathing ritual. After we both got in the first pool I noticed something that looked like feces stuck on the side of the pool. My friend agreed that it was feces so we quickly exited the pool. I told the desk. They had multiple people check it out and then they closed the pool. They removed the feces and kept the pool closed. Our spa charge was refunded.
I did get a call from a manager who offered us a room upgrade and spa pass on our next visit. There will not be a next visit. The wine country has a number of resort spas to choose from and why go back to Sonoma Mission Inn after such a bad experience?
