Wonderful stay!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We traveled around wine country for many nights and this was our favorite stay. The wonderful customer service started before we ever got there. I made reservations on-line and then had questions. Plus, I had to then modify that reservation and called again. Both times they were so very helpful and so friendly! Now that I’ve stayed there, I’m so disappointed that I had to reduce my stay from 2 nights to just 1. We got there around 5 pm, just in time for the wine reception. The wine was good and we had snacks to enjoy as well. It was nice to relax after a long day getting there. We then went to dinner and could walk there! The Inn is close to the town square with wonderful shopping & restaurants. The room itself was gorgeous. There was plenty of room with nice modern décor that looked brand new. The bathroom was also large with TONS of counter space and a spa for the tub. Nice sitting area with TV. Had mini-frig which was handy for our cheeses. It was just a beautiful room for a very good price. The only issue was that there was no elevator and we had to get our bags up the stairs. I think other buildings had elevators so just check on that first if you need one. We were very disappointed that we had to leave at 7 am! We saw there were some rooms with balconies and if we return sometime when good weather we will definitely want one of those. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8 am. They had a lemon breakfast cake out and she said we could help ourselves. It was so moist and delicious. I’m sure that the rest of breakfast would have been awesome! We’ll just have to go back and spend more time here!

A gem in the heart of wine country

The Inn at Sonoma is one of those home away from home Inns that just makes you want to stay longer. The rooms are lovely. Ours had a lovely gas fireplace; that we used due to cool wet weather. The Inn is quiet even though it is located on a busy street.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They serve lovely wine and cheese in the afternoon. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. They provide a variety of food items and keep the buffet well stocked.
We definitely visit with this establishment in the future. It is a lovely get away spot.

Old people's home.

Ok hotel with nice rooms. They run it like a retirement home though. At about 8pm a battle axe receptionist appears and tells everyone sitting in the lobby to hush their voices or preferably go away. This totally ruined my get together with friends and was incredibly rude. The place is deserted after 9pm and really boring.

Great hotel

The hotel is located closed to the main attractions in downtown Sonoma and the bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast is nice with different options of fruits.

Great place

Yes this place has a great atmosphere but what was phenomenal was the manager. He woke up in the middle of the night to help me in and was the most gracious host I have ever met, made this place indelible in my memory.
