How to Get There
We visited with 2 other couples for a wine tasting trip. Laurie and Rebecca were absolutely wonderful. They both cooked delicious breakfasts each morning (Laurie is an executive chef). They provided wine on several evenings during our 4 day stay. Laurie is a wealth of information on restaurants, wineries, and the surrounding areas. The inn is beautiful, as was our room. The location was perfect for us: walking distance to many fabulous restaurants, and was a great base to get to various wineries. They also include complementary wine tastings at any of their 10 Wilson wineries. Would love to come back again soon!
Great location, easy walking distance to town. Laurie was an amazing host and chef for our breakfasts. Very helpful with dinner suggestions and reservations (and you get a little extra when you visit on her reservation). Hotel is associated with 7, and ousting, wineries, so no tasting fees at the Wilson related wineries. Thanks!
Beautifully appointed rooms, walking distance to downtown, Laurie is very accomodating with suggestions of places to eat and to visit.
It was nice having 5:00 wine and cheese with the other guest, and the breakfast was super. Laurie needs to write a cookbook. Farm to table eggs and spices.
Take a step back in time. Located close to downtown, restaurants and the plaza. Beautiful Victorian. Quiet. My elderly parents stayed there in June (during an awful heatwave. Up to 109 degrees). I was there often. Loved the house. Decorated in the period. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful front porch with seating and a porch swing. The standout here is the service. Kind and caring, and they went over and beyond keeping a watchful eye on my folks while I stayed nearby. All guests eat breakfast together, which my parents said was very good. Gluten-free breakfast available. Ask in advance. Wine and bites provided between 5:00 and 6:00. All in all, a wonderful experience.
We loved staying at this inn! The properly is beautiful inside and out, with a gorgeous garden and quaint, luxurious bedrooms. I loved that it was easy to walk to Healdsburg's downtown square with tons of restaurants, wine tasting spots, a really good ice cream/pie spot, and more. We would definitely come back!
