Surprise find in Healdsburg
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

From the moment I pulled up the driveway I knew I had found the best place to stay in Healdsburg. Calderwood is a charming old house with modern plumbing fixtures and even radiant heat in the bathroom floors. The staff treated us all like family and provided a gourmet breakfast every morning. They also gave us a pass for free wine tastings at any of the many Wilson family vineyards. This is now my go to in Healdsburg

Perfect three night stay

We stayed in the Pezzi King, which was a fabulously decorated new addition. The bathroom was HUGE and modern, with a soaking tub and a large walk-in shower with two rainshower heads.Immediately outside our room there was a secluded table and two chairs. Pezzi King is obviously a totally different feel from the overall property, but we could not have been more satisfied.

We were part of a group of six couples, and from what I could tell we all loved our time at Calderwood.

Stayed in the Soda Rock Room. Wonderful experience. Welcome cocktail on the porch with friends. Breakfast was wonderful. Prepared and served by Rebecca who was outstanding. Parlor room was perfect for conversation in the evening and quite reading early in the morning.

Very interesting and beautiful Inn. The staff super nice, excellent breakfast. Walking distance to downtown. The house is a wonderful time capsule of time before grapes. Very glad we stayed here. I would stay here again.

Wonderful Overnight Getaway

We stayed in the St. Anne Suite, which was wonderful. It was especially quiet since we were the only guests. Able to look in the other rooms and common areas to plan our next visit. Even though we did not arrive in time for the wine reception, we did receive a bottle in our room and the staff was great the next morning, a hot cooked breakfast with orange juice and coffee!!
