Lovely hotel, and as are most Relais & Châteaux locations, amazing service with comfortable accommodations. The grounds were beautiful and definitely worth walking around to take in the garden. Great pool/spa and delicious food at the Pantry. Loved our stay!

Continues to excell

It’s been over two years since I last stayed at The Priory and in that time the standard has not dropped. Attentive staff with friendly quiet efficiency. The food is outstanding. This hotel is not cheap but well worth it. This is a hotel for that special occasion but once you’ve been you will find yourself inventing that occasion to justify a revisit.

A peaceful retreat with exceptional service

We stayed at The Bath Priory for two short stays over the summer (respectively one and two nights in June and September). Service from the minute we arrived (with a very packed car...) to our departure was exceptional: everyone was extremely kind and helpful and went out of their way to enable us to have a special and relaxing stay (during our first stay, we actually had a cot and changing area installed in the bedroom even though I had completely forgotten to mention that it make things easier for us). We had a babysitter cancel upon us and the issue was sorted in literally minutes. We arrived late for our second stay and were able to have a lovely diner at the Pantry in a side room to make it easier & more comfortable for us with our baby (the previous time, we had dinner on the terrace which was a delightful experience, the large lush gardens being a lovely sight). Diner at the restaurant was also very good. The bedrooms were spacious (with special attentions and a very efficient room service), the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms offer all the amenities you may need (and a large bath). The hotel also offers welcoming indoor sitting areas where you can enjoy drinks (the beautiful bar has a very interesting cocktail selection) or board games. We appreciate the location of the hotel as it is close enough to the city center so that you can walk there (in about 20 minutes) and enjoy the parks and architecture Bath has to offer along the way. The Bath Priory is a true gem and we look forward to our next stay.
