A rejuvenating retreat in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, with incredible views and first-rate dining
It’s no secret that après-ski can be as delightful as the ski itself, and at The Westin Snowmass Resort, the same goes for après-ski season. In spring and summer just as much as in the colder times of year, this resort relaxes, restores and refreshes all on its own. With a pool, a spacious sun deck and slope-side hot tubs, it boasts a vast number of ways to take a break in this spectacular mountain locale (scenic gondola ride, anyone?). Even if you stay at one altitude, you'll already be thousands of feet above sea level, right in the middle of the Rockies – and charming Snowmass Village setting itself is sure to keep your spirits high.
So is the resort – at all times of year, The Westin boasts a vast number of ways for you to vacation in this spectacular mountain locale. You can avail yourself of the WestinWORKOUT options in the window-walledexercise studio, or the WestinRUN jogging program. Sip a cocktail in Vue Lounge, or feast on pizza and pasta at Snowmass Kitchen. To really take your relaxing stay to the next level, visit the spa, which offers you a glass of champagne with your treatment, or sit by the crackling lobby fireplace – if that's not uplifting, we don't know what is.
Ranging in size from 360 to 385 square feet, the hotel's Alpine and Pinnacle rooms feature earth tones and rustic-chic décor to create a modern-mountain-lodge feel. Alpine rooms are located on a quieter side of the hotel that’s near the spa and Kids Club. Pinnacle rooms are ideally situated near mountain trails and property restaurants on the slope side of the resort, and they include a balcony, as well as two queen beds. These rooms look out over the valley or resort. Opt for a Premium accommodation for slopeside views.
Snowmass Kitchen is the resort's flagship dining destination. Spectacular terrace views and leather and wood décor complement the fresh, seasonal menu of dishes like rack of elk or cowboy-cut ribeye. Get an energy boost with a perfect cup of joe, made especially for you, in the on-site Starbucks. For lunch bites and brews, you can head across the street to The Bar at Wildwood Snowmass, a cool new beer hall in collaboration with New Belgium Brewery. There's also The Ranger Station, also new, offering craft beers and seasonal fare on the resort's lower level. And finish the night curled up next to the Vue Lounge’s massive fireplace, sipping a microbrew or the famous Snowmass Sangria.
Natural stone and neutral colors set a relaxing tone, from your first step inside the Snowmass Spa. The complimentary glass of champagne and essential oils in the relaxation lounge prepare you to indulge in specially designed Relax, Revitalize and Rejuvenate packages, like the calming facial and tailored massage, or to put together your own custom experience. You can also receive a massage in the privacy of your room.
Surrounded by pines and Snowmass mountain, The Westin Snowmass Resort is truly in the center of this mountain destination. You’ll have plenty of choices in the way of outdoor recreation, from skiing and snowboarding in the winter to climbing, hiking and enjoying scenic lifts year-round. From the resort, you can also easily walk or take the shuttle to Snowmass Village for premier shopping and dining. A short, scenic drive takes you to downtown Aspen, home to entertainment venues, world-class dining, wildlife sanctuaries and additional year-round outdoor activities.
