Design-forward boutique in historic Chinatown with 30 art-filled rooms and a top-notch Cantonese restaurant
This hip, design-forward hotel brings a cheeky sensibility to buttoned-up Singapore. Each of the 30 rooms is different, tricked out with an eclectic mix of vintage and designer furniture, and artwork designed by cutting-edge creatives from across the globe, including Singaporean fashion designer Wykidd Song and film and theater director Glen Goei. They all have creature comforts, too, including Kiehl’s bath products, Nespresso coffeemakers, Samsung Smart TVs, and Ploh bedding and bathrobes. The Cantonese restaurant is helmed by an award-winning chef who cut his teeth at some of Singapore’s finest restaurants, and a Guest Experience Ambassador is on hand to plan itineraries and recommend places to shop and dine — a 15 to 30-minute consultation is free.
In the Area
The hotel is located in Singapore's historic Chinatown, with its walkable streets and excellent restaurants. To explore more of Singapore’s off duty side, head to Sentosa island for its golf, beach clubs, and family-centered activities, or take in the island nation’s colonial history in the posh area around offbeat shopping district Dempsey Hill, known for its traditional black and white mansions. The nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens are filled to the brim with orchids, tropical plants, and locals taking a breather in the shade.
