Overview

An urban garden oasis on Singapore’s purpose-built resort island of Sentosa

The Lowdown

With a lush garden setting and glorious views of the South China Sea, the extensive Sentosa Singapore offers guests the kind of tropical-island-resort experience that’s usually hard to find within 30 minutes of a major urban center. Its features include 174 large guestrooms, an extensive spa, and restaurants that include the award-winning Cliff, where meals are served on dining platforms over verdant jungle. Although the full-service resort offers plenty of activities on-site (mountain biking, tennis, petanque), it also provides free shuttles to downtown Sentosa Island for shopping, dining and drinking.

In the Area

Sentosa Island is Singapore’s resort playground, and home to recreational facilities including two golf courses, the Universal Studios Singapore amusement park, a variety of beaches, and nature-based attractions like Mount Imbiah, where the impressive remnants of a British pre-World War II embankment remain. The island’s 50-plus dining establishments range from casual beach bars like the Bali-style Bikini Bar to upscale eateries like Joël Robuchon, an outpost of the famous French chef’s empire.

Excellent

Took a much needed break and checked into the Sofitel on Sentosa island for a week.
Wanted to relax and stay away from the bright lights. Spent long languid evenings at the breezy Le Bar enjoying Singapore slings and ice cold Tiger beers served up with a beautiful smile by the ever attentive Heema.
Looking forward to a return visit.

Returning patrons met with the same great service

Celebrated my partner’s birthday recently & I must say the team (Angela & Lana) has done a tremendous job at surprising us with their personalised decorations. Kudos to them for all the effort for the arrangement.

Truly beautiful place

It had been a couple of years since I last visited Sofitel Sentosa, and I almost forgot how authentic this place feels compared to the other hotels around... Sitting on a cliff between dense vegetation and coastal view, it is by far the best scenery of Sentosa.

Great Experience

Beautiful oasis on busy Sentosa. A great place to relax while teenage children enjoy the Sentosa attractions.

The staff were always very helpful and provided a very personal service. The food was great and we particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurant.
