With a lush garden setting and glorious views of the South China Sea, the extensive Sentosa Singapore offers guests the kind of tropical-island-resort experience that’s usually hard to find within 30 minutes of a major urban center. Its features include 174 large guestrooms, an extensive spa, and restaurants that include the award-winning Cliff, where meals are served on dining platforms over verdant jungle. Although the full-service resort offers plenty of activities on-site (mountain biking, tennis, petanque), it also provides free shuttles to downtown Sentosa Island for shopping, dining and drinking.
In the Area
Sentosa Island is Singapore’s resort playground, and home to recreational facilities including two golf courses, the Universal Studios Singapore amusement park, a variety of beaches, and nature-based attractions like Mount Imbiah, where the impressive remnants of a British pre-World War II embankment remain. The island’s 50-plus dining establishments range from casual beach bars like the Bali-style Bikini Bar to upscale eateries like Joël Robuchon, an outpost of the famous French chef’s empire.
How to Get There
The staff at the restaurants were amazing! Thanks Sutha,Sanjay and Vijay and all your teams.
Dinner at the Cliff thoroughly delightful.
Chilli crabs at Kwee Zeen were delicious . Food and service totally on point.
Rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
Altogether a wonderful stay!
We visited here following 5 nights and the JW Marriott South Beach in Singapore, so our expectations were high. We did encounter a blip when our bags were misplaced to the wrong room. Rachel, the Duty Manager came to our rescue, and found the missing bags in an adjacent room - she delivered them herself! Great customer service! The food and drink offerings were excellent. Pool was quite spacious, and rooms were very comfortable, including beds. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend, and hats off to Rachel!
We have had a few staycations here already and every visit makes us feel like we have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. A true getaway.
Alex at LeBar was wonderful as usual, making us feel very welcome.
Breakfast at Kwee Zeen was also very good. However, our lunch on day 1 was a little off the usual service expected when our food took a long time - including my toddler’s pasta. Which we realize must have all been standing at the counter waiting for someone to serve had we not actually enquired about our food. This was when the restaurant was almost empty.
Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Inconvenient to get back from RWS to hotel though.... hoping that one day there’ll be a shuttle for this!
