With a lush garden setting and glorious views of the South China Sea, the extensive Sentosa Singapore offers guests the kind of tropical-island-resort experience that’s usually hard to find within 30 minutes of a major urban center. Its features include 174 large guestrooms, an extensive spa, and restaurants that include the award-winning Cliff, where meals are served on dining platforms over verdant jungle. Although the full-service resort offers plenty of activities on-site (mountain biking, tennis, petanque), it also provides free shuttles to downtown Sentosa Island for shopping, dining and drinking.
In the Area
Sentosa Island is Singapore’s resort playground, and home to recreational facilities including two golf courses, the Universal Studios Singapore amusement park, a variety of beaches, and nature-based attractions like Mount Imbiah, where the impressive remnants of a British pre-World War II embankment remain. I really want to share my experience about this romantic restaurant that a few people knows about in Singapore,
It is a fabolous one in Sentosa .
We ate at the garden restaurant And I recommend everyone to eat there . Only Halal Healthy food including sea bass, beef and capellini ...in main meals .Both the service and the food are beautiful. I like the service of Idbella, he has a very nice smile to all guests, he shows professionality in his working by providing us with a menu , and recommend the nicest food, after we finish eating he brought us the menu again to choose a dessert we love with coffee .
the food and dessert that is made by chef Dennis was so delicious .

We stayed at this lovely Hotel for almost 2 weeks.
Although we had to get used to the humid climate and to our common luxury suite, we had a fantastic and wonderful time on Sentosa Island! The lovely, friendly and professional Team of staff I would like to mention as well as the beautiful Hotel areas. We simply loved the pool, the dining and bar areas where we could enjoy the entire day as well as the evenings, listening to the live piano music. A special thanks to HEMA at the bar who did a fantastic job as well as to the guys at the pool area!!! Me and my children will never forget this terrific holiday :-) Thank you so much and all the very best!!!
Very good restaurant with good service especially like kour from kweezeen restaurant. She made us feel welcome . On the other side Room is old ,air con is noisy . She made us forgot everything with polite n friendly n professional behavior
We were there for a family staycation and we chose Sofitel for its vast landscape and peaceful setting.
The staff were really attentive and the checkin process was seamless. Kudos to the great team they have onsite. They were all Polite and responsive. Can’t fault the service level.
The complimentary fish spa was a nice touch too.
The bad (and very bad)
The room we had was not very well maintained. In fact, it was very dusty when we checked in and even though we liked the location, we had a great yard of greenery right outside our door (the kids loved it), the room was ridden with ants and mosquitoes! In fact, it was so infested with mosquitoes I would have expected them to have mosquitoes spray and coil readily available. We had to call for the spray and even then, they only could come in and spray once which really didn’t help much. We all ended up with multiple bites.
It got worse. After my kid showered, I went in to help clear the bathroom and to my horror, I found a huge cockroach on the bathroom wall. We had to call Housekeeping to get rid of it. We had to wait for quite a while for help to come. It was my husband’s birthday and the hotel was kind enough to arrange a (very small) cake for us but because we were too busy dealing with the cockroach (and pacifying the kids), we did not really get to celebrate much.
It was only later that evening after we spoke to front desk when they offered a room change for us. However, as we were all settled in, we didn’t want to move. We did ask for someone to go in to clean the room another round and while waiting, were offered welcome drinks. However, when we went back to the room, it didn’t look like it was cleaned a second time.
The breakfast was not fantastic snd spread was very limited. In fact, the spread outdoors had birds eating out of the ladles.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay but it could have been better. If not for the great service of the staff, we would have left earlier due to the condition of the room. We have stayed at many resorts and hotels which are close to nature and never had to deal with so many mosquitoes and ants in the room so I think more could have been done on the hotel’s part.
The room was also a bit of a squeeze for the family and we should have taken the family suite but hotel was fully booked when we checked in. So for families with kids, you may want to consider a bigger room when booking.
It is a pleasure to stay at this luxury Hotel on Sentosa Island. We come back each year to recharge and relax with excellent food and polite and helpful staff. It is well worth paying the extra for a Junior Suite.
The accommodation wings are well named as PEACE and TRANQUILITY as this whole complex radiates with calm.
We will certainly return.
