An intimate, design-forward cocoon with luxury flourishes in central Singapore

The Lowdown

A high-design hotel near Singapore’s central business district, the Naumi has 73 rooms in categories like “Habitat,” “Oasis,” “Patio” and “Eden & Nirwana.” All boast warm earth tones, exotic woods, radiant LED lighting, 400-thread count sheets, and top-shelf technology. The public areas are inviting too, designed to be welcoming places to work or socialize. Launched in 2013, the Table by Rang Mahal restaurant focuses on Indian street food, and a rooftop infinity pool and bar with groovy wicker furniture aims to be a tranquil respite from the city’s buzz below.

In the Area

The hotel is a stone’s through from the Suntec Convention Centre and the Formula One track. To explore Singapore’s less fast-paced side, head to Sentosa island, known for it’s golf, beach clubs, and family-centered activities, or take in the island nation’s colonial history in the posh area around offbeat shopping district Dempsey Hill, known for its traditional black and white mansions. The nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens are filled to the brim with orchids, tropical plants, and locals taking a breather in the shade.

WOW - where to start with the amazing things about this hotel?
Reviewed 11 hours ago

First location - brilliant for arts and culture, eateries, and everything. Couldn't have been more central for the things we needed to do. Second - that pool! and the bar on the top floor. Its the most incredible space, for a swim, for a drink, to chill and feel immersed in Singapore. Third - the staff. We've felt so cared for - from a birthday brownie, to people carrying my bag, to a shower before the airport, to taxi ordering - all with smiles and genuine care. The rooms are fun, funky and tech-ed. The magic glass, the hidden plug sockets, the electric blinds and the free soda in the mini bar... I could go on and on and on. It all made our stay magical. Thank you. x

Naumi is located at the back of raffles. the hotel pool has a nice view to the city. You don't have to go far if you wish to have drinks, next to the hotel is restaurants and bars open until midnight.

1 night in Singapour

We spent one night in this hotel.

We found the staff very friendly. Special thanks to the bartender who make us cocktail even if he has started to close.

The room itself is nice, modern and bathroom is very nice also. If you take a room with a patio, we found it a bit useless however as there was no view nor « sun access ».

The infinity pool is great for having a break and/or a cocktail and with a nice view.

We put only 3 because we took a mystery room (so you paid roughly the price for a room with patio and you can expect probably anything on the paper). However we get a room with patio so a bit disappointed with that as we would definitely have choose a cheapest one if we had known, also breakfast was not included.

To conclude: very nice hotel to be objective but from our experience a disappointment.

Fantastic Boutique hotel & super helpful friendly staff

This hotel is a “hidden gem” situated at the back of the Raffles ( were temporarily the “long bar is situated “ while Raffles is under refurbishment ) this Boutique hotel will not disappoint you of your looking for a smaller hotel. The rooms are compact but stylishly done , making use of every available space but yet at the same time give you the feeling of space !! It’s lovely and modern and has everything in your room from a coffee maker to a yoga 🧘‍♀️ mat !! All the staff we met were so friendly and spoke “good English” which made it easier to ask for directions to various locations around Singapore. The roof top infinity pool & sun terrace area was a lovely place to relax and cool down and never really got busy, usually 4/6 Poole max at one time x food and drinks could be ordered via the bar telephone to be brought up to you, although I didn’t use this facility many did and the food looked lovely and arrived promptly. The life’s are currently been up grading and although work is been carried out doing the day thus did not effect our stay as noise was kept to a minimum and one lift was in working order at all times. We we’re given a complementary mini bar of soft drinks in the room and I’m not sure if this was to compensate for the Potentional noise or is only available, either way the soft drinks were a bonus x just outside the hotel we’re 2/3 local restaurants nothing fancy but after a long day sit seeing if you don’t want to talk far definitely get there- food was super cheap and delicious x

Great place for solo traveler - OUTSTANDING service!

I wrote a review on FaceBook and thought I should probably write one on Trip Advisor as well. I had the pleasure of staying at the Naumi Hotel Singapore this past April. I travel extensively and, I have to say, the managers and staff at the Naumi were outstanding!!! One of the managers actually found me a GREAT place for a massage....walked me there....arranged the massage for me..and then waited at the hotel for me to get back safely! I had wonderful conversations with the food manager and she always took the time.....and more....to help me better understand Singapore. I have never felt so secure traveling through Asia.
