A high-design hotel near Singapore’s central business district, the Naumi has 73 rooms in categories like “Habitat,” “Oasis,” “Patio” and “Eden & Nirwana.” All boast warm earth tones, exotic woods, radiant LED lighting, 400-thread count sheets, and top-shelf technology. The public areas are inviting too, designed to be welcoming places to work or socialize. Launched in 2013, the Table by Rang Mahal restaurant focuses on Indian street food, and a rooftop infinity pool and bar with groovy wicker furniture aims to be a tranquil respite from the city’s buzz below.
In the Area
The hotel is a stone’s through from the Suntec Convention Centre and the Formula One track. To explore Singapore’s less fast-paced side, head to Sentosa island, known for it’s golf, beach clubs, and family-centered activities, or take in the island nation’s colonial history in the posh area around offbeat shopping district Dempsey Hill, known for its traditional black and white mansions. The nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens are filled to the brim with orchids, tropical plants, and locals taking a breather in the shade.
How to Get There
If you are looking for a hotel which pays attention to your needs then Naumi is the one. Compared to most hotels in City Hall area in Singapore, the price is reasonable, with good facilities and an amazing rooftop swimming pool for chilling out. The rooms are larger than usual and also has good amenities. Ground floor Indian cuisine restaurant also serves delicious authentic Indian Fusion food. There are also small snacks which guests can take from the reception area throughout the day.
Hands down best hotel in Singapore. Great hospitality and fantastic value. The pool view may not be that of the MBS, but in some ways it's better since you are closer to downtown. Also, it is never near as crowded! Breakfast was also a great value. We stayed in the habitat room, was small (like most hotels in Singapore) but had everything you need and smart storage spaces. Would recommend to anyone visiting Singapore
My husband and I stayed at Naumi for three nights on our way from the U.K. to Australia. We were so pleased that our room was ready for us when we arrived from the airport at 9am so that we could shower and change and make the most of our first day. The hotel is well situated, just over the road from Raffles and an easy walk to Gardens by the Bay. The rooftop pool was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were really comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but there are plenty of other options locally.
