How to Get There
Hotel is new and clean. Love the bay window and huge comfortable bed. The shower took some time to heat up but it's very strong. 24-hour room service was extremely prompt (super impressed by that). The food was restaurant standard and even though I didn't order any drinks, they brought up a glass of iced water. Internally connected to Tanglin Mall.
Mobile check in and out was efficient.
Nice view of the pool at Level 17 room. Room and bathroom are small but clean and neat. Functional for family with a child.
Executive club food and beverage varieties and qualites have to be better.
It was an unexpected stay without any expectation but after 2 days with Hotel Jen it would be necessary to give recommendation to this dainty property.Staff at driveway when we arrive has been helpful wth our luggage and same when we departed. He was fast to organise us a taxi.Check in was not breezy when we arrive due to a line build up but the attitude of the girls behind the desk makes it easier. They tried their best to check in guest fast and initiate small talks so when it is our turn we didn't feel like we were on the line.Food has been excellent and we tried ordering to their Jena menu which is fascinating with Jena the robot to deliver the food to our room.The swimming pool is a cool place to sun bath with the tropical feeling. Though weather has been not cooperative we had a bit of sunshine which we are most happy about.in summary, this hotel has been our little home during our time in Singapore and though there are lots of hotel options coming here we did not regret selecting this property. my second time here. I felt the atmosphere a bit lacking compare to my 1st time.staffs here like passionless .. can see in their eyes.. again no staff welcome and assist with my luggage and stroller.. front desk staff didn't explain to me where the breakfast is . the j65 is exceptional awesome as always.. however I'm not convince to stay here again next time..the ambience is really lacking
From order to delivery it took nearly an hour. Called the "Order-in Operator" to investigate about my order (just in case there was a problem), been told to wait for them to call me back with an answer.No call back, of course! Knock on the door after 10 minutes and the food was brought in by an apologetic staff member. Wrong charges applied.Naturally the bill was sent back for correction. In the meantime called Guest Services to complain about the lengthy procedure. The outcome I understood was scrapping the charge as at that stage it was getting absurd. Delivery staff made another appearance bringing the bill (which in the meantime has been corrected). I informed about the latest development (food on the house). But no... wait for this... 2 phone calls later and a knock at the door (despite the DND sign) here we are the Manageress and the Room Service Manager asking me to sign the bill (and subsequently charge it). Confused.com springs to mind 😤Please be aware.
