Experience Singapore in its fullest with a luxe stay at this city-centred retreat. The hotel is located snugly along the Marina Bay area, is linked to several malls around the area and offers easy access to the best of the Lion City’s attractions. The futuristic Gardens By The Bay, premium harbor area, the new National Gallery and some of the city’s best nightspots are just some hotspots to hit up. As with most places in Singapore, dining options are aplenty, with well-known local and international dining establishments found throughout the city. Foodies and urban explorers alike will find plenty to see, eat and do around the area.
Despite it’s buzzing location, the hotel is a peaceful oasis, elegant with its marble-clad interiors and impressive atrium with a ceiling that rises 21-stories high. It is a breathtaking space, usually dressed with a suspended art piece that cascades from the 21st floor. Doze off in your spacious room, cocooned by premium bedding and soft-as-silk linens, just what you need to prepare you for a day out exploring. Around for over 30-years, but constantly reinventing itself, the hotel is well-loved and has bagged another TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2017.
How to Get There
Stayed here for three nights before a cruise. Little to fault in what is an impressive, modern and friendly hotel. We were upgraded to a premium room on the 17th floor which helped. The room was a good size with a large and comfortable double bed. The en suite bathroom had everything you might expect. Wi-fi was easy to connect and a good signal, even though my emails would not send for some reason. The tv wasn’t used much but had Sky News to-keep up with the UK. We had a balcony overlooking the city (not Bay) side which was still an impressive view. The room was well insulated though there was some traffic noise at night. The room had a kettle and Nespresso machine though I think this cost extra.
Breakfast had a wide variety, plenty to choose from if not the best I have ever tasted. We used the evening buffet twice which is convenient with many types of cuisine available. There is a nice swimming pool with loungers. The water is warm without being hot and about 1.5m deep. There is a bar with a happy hour in the afternoon.
We liked the location. About 20 minutes to Marina Sands and Gardens by the Bay, Suntec shopping mall is just over the road and Arena Square is just through an adjoining door on the 3rd floor - this place even has an M&S nearby.
Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout, it was a good choice and met all our needs.
Attended a wedding lunch at the hotel ballroom. Well organised and cosy ambience. Good staff service and quality food. Hotel is grand and beautiful. Convenient with Mrt nearby within walking distance. Great!
I recently stayed at the Marina Mandarin Singapore. From the moment you step out of the lift on level 4 you are amazed by the view.. and that’s on the inside.
Staff were amazing and very helpful.
The food options were great and tasty.
And then you get the fantastic and beautiful views from your room. The awesome pool even sparkles!
