How to Get There
Overall stay was excellent. Kids love the pool. Buffet dinner at Aquamarine was excellent too! The chef and staff were friendly and even waited for us to finish our dinner before they closed. They even presented us with a birthday cake. Easy access to shopping mall.
Dear MelvinIndeed we had a very wonderful staycation at Marina Mandarin recently (8 Dec 2018) and it cannot be made possible without the excellent hospitality extended to me and my family, by the superb services provided by your team at the club lounge. Hence, I would like to thank all of them, especially Ms. Aoi, Ms. Aaleyah, Mr. Simon and Mr. Justin, because they are always very helpful, cheerful and friendly. Throughout our stay, we were treated like super VIP. Well done!In addition, we enjoyed the complimentary mini bar refreshments and the spacious charming suite with the best view of the bay gave us lasting memories of Marina Mandarin. We will not hesitate to recommend to our friends for their staycation.Meanwhile, I have made another reservation for staycation in Jan 2019 and am looking forward to another round of excellent experiences. Thanks to Ms. Maria for the reservation assistance. Many thanks once again to all!Best RegardsHelen
The hotel didn’t disappoint. The staff were welcoming and efficient. We checked in early and were given a lovely, quiet and comfortable room equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent - a few minutes walk to Marina Bay, Clarke Quay and the MRT. The breakfast provided lots of options. When I return to Singapore, I will definitely return to this hotel.
We stayed at Marina Mandarin over the weekends in Dec 2018. Check-in was smooth and fast. Very professional front desk officers.
The room was spacious with private balcony facing the pool. The bathroom was very spotless with separate shower and bathtub.
The hotel is located just beside a row of malls which are connected to each other. Very convenient to find food and shopping.
The beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Though the tv and lighting functions are abit outdated in the room but we are not complaining as the rooms were bigger than the usual hotels in Asia :)
Excellent housekeeping team and operators, very helpful and friendly. Conceirge may want to put more smile, not really that pleasant to see unfriendly faces over the counter whenever guests request for a parking coupons.
Would give an additional star for this review if it would have not been the frustrating experience with the carpark. Maybe management would want to consider putting up a sign or open up those parking spots that were chained off to allows cars to park especially on days that the hotel is having 2 wedding receptions at the same time. I assumed we were not the only hotel guests that spent more than 30 mins driving around the carpark trying to find those 40 available lots when there isn’t any. We ended up having to exit the carpark which by then we have to pay and parked our cars at Millenia Walk and drove back after 10pm.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Marina Mandarin. Will come back if there is an opportunity in the future.
The hotel is at an ideal location. Walking distance to a number of places and close to the underground. The hotel itself was nice, however, the room we were given was close to a staff door, which meant we could hear staff coming through during the night - a slow closer would assist and not disturb the guests.
