How to Get There
This is a wonderful boutique hotel with awesome guest services. Ask for Victor - he is awesome and will take good care of you. Very charming atmosphere with excellent service. I cannot say enough about the hospitality Victor provides our family.
We always have a lovely stay at Casa Lucila, the staff are incredible and make it feel like home every time we are there. A special mention to Paulo who went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for having us once again! We will be back
I have stayed at Casa Lucila Hotel Boutique on 3 different occasions. Every time I stayed there, this hotel exceeds my expectations. For example, I bought cheese at a nearby town and I asked a staff member if they allowed me to store the cheeses I their freezer and they were happy to do so free of charge. Another example worth sharing was the night when "Combate Naval" took place during "Carnaval". There was a security guard who was an a-hole with me and told me I could not be on the second floor balcony because the only ones who were allowed to be there were guests who made reservations and paid $$$ for their dinner. I did not pay but I was a guest there. That's what I told the guard. That didn't help. So, Victor was very nice that he spoke to the guard and convinced him that I was entitled to view the fireworks show. Victor went the extra mile with me and made sure I enjoyed the Combate Naval. Now, Victor and I are friends. I am also friends with other members of Casa Lucila's staff. If you want peace and tranquility and enjoy amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and breathtaking sunsets, I strongly recommend this hotel. If you have any issues, the staff there will be more than happy to help you. VICTOR, YOUR AWESOME!
Was looking forward to a relaxing 5 night retreat over the holidays. This boutique hotel is very charming, but the many interactions with poor service created an overall disappointing memory. Needed to call maintenance assistance to my room on THREE separate occasions due to inoperable/broken locks, door knob fell off, and broken deck door. They finally had to relocate me to another room one night to complete repairs and then directed me back to my original room again the next day. They did not apologize or even offer so much as a complimentary margarita for this inconvenience. They were in fact, very rude about it. I requested from the front desk staff to talk to the manager, but was never contacted by a manager. The bed was uncomfortable, I woke each day with a sore back. Felt like I had slept on someone's old sofa. Food and beverage service was friendly, yet consistently slow and inattentive. This service experience was consistently the same over several days whether the restaurant was full, or I was the only person in the restaurant. I would rate the food a 6 (on a scale of 1-10), not great. Sorry Casa Lucila, you have work to do.
We stayed here for 5 nights December 3 - December 5, 2018, everything about the property we loved, we enjoyed the staff especially Enrique and Maria at front desk, they went beyond with helping. Definitely would recommend this property.
