How to Get There
Rooms were very nice, staff were excellent, pool was good and the happy hour was good too. Food at restaurant was very good and service again was excellent. It was centrally located and easy (1.5k) walking distance to the central markets but is is very hot and humid so walking slowly is suggested.
Fantastic staff, so friendly and helpful,
Great selection for breakfast catering for a variety of cuisines hot and cold.
Rooms spacious with large bathroom area, large pool area, request a room on the ground floor backing on the the pool for easy access outside your veranda.( The hotel is 2 levels).
The hotel is around 20 - 25 minutes walk to the old market area, but the tuk tuks seat up to 4 people and only cost $2 to $3 US each way.
November was a good time to visit as temperatures still not too hot.
You have to familiarise yourself with the different entrances otherwise it is easy to get disoriented as the complex is spread out.
We have spent 16 days in Cambodia and Thailand, this was by far the best place we stayed. The customer service is outstanding and we felt genuinely welcomed. Everyday of our stay brought a new delight. The spa was excellent, we went every day of our 5 day stay. Just what you need after a day trekking around the temples. Our room overlooked the pool and was clean and bright. One of my favorite things was the smell of this hotel, oh my goodness! So wonderful! It was jasmine I think but could be wrong. The lemongrass tea was delish, the food was great, but the service is what makes this place stand out from the numerous hotels in Siem Reap. It is very much a boutique experience, every staff member knows who you are.
I have to say, for me this was pure perfection. Special mention to Martin in the restaurant, thank you for the daily conversation.
We stayed here in November 2018 as the first stop on a tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. The hotel was centrally located in Siem Reap, a short tuc-tuc ride from Pub Street. It is beautifully furnished and smells like a spa all day!
We ate in the restaurant at the main hotel and the Shack and both were very good and reasonably prices. Breakfast was included and was plentiful, fresh and catered for all tastes.
The staff were super friendly and courteous and very welcoming and they spoke very good English too.We were only here for three nights but were able to take full advantage of the lovely pool area and it was the perfect place to tour Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom from.
Checkin and check out were very smooth and transfer from the airport was abut 45 mins. If we were back this way again we would want to stay here.
We stayed 4 nights at the Shinta Mani Shack and loved everything about it from its location to the size, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, its lovely pool and its excellent food - for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On top of this, the staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Their smiles welcomed us at every hour of the day. We were really impressed
