How to Get There
We were recommended to stay here while in Siem Reap, actually we were not convinced based on their website, but OMG on arrival, what a retreat
Staff, food, atmosphere, the bikes, the everything was amazing
If you like us appreciate being left uninterrupted, but with most attentive service, this should be on your bucket list
Such a beautiful green resort hotel with exceptional service and friendly staffs. Surrounded ourselves with amazing greenery rice paddies, palm trees...It’s very refreshing and relaxing. I’ll be there again 😍
Possibly the most beautiful resort we've stayed in - an oasis of calm within the city. Paddy fields line walkways leading up the the pools and restaurants.
We did not visit at a good time, temperatures reached over 40deg during the middle of the day and the Cambodian New Year meant that everything was significantly busier than usual and getting to the main part of town took 30 minutes by taxi. Locals like to shoot tourists with water guns during this time, so riding a tuk-tuk with my 7 year old was out of the question.
Rooms are interesting and very spread out, but myself, my husband and the children were basically in one room, which was really cramped with the extra beds in it. The rooms were also really dark, with insufficient artificial and natural light. We had a pool suite, with a small private pool, but this was too warm to use.
Service was generally good, although we were told on arrival that a certain restaurant would be open on our last evening that we were keen to eat in, however, it wasn't and by then it was too late to arrange to eat elsewhere.
The food quality in the main restaurant was excellent, although very expensive. We found the offerings at breakfast to be very limited.
We absolutely loved this place!! Gorgeous quiet setting a short drive or tuk tuk from city centre.
The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has quite good amenities given the location.
The room service menu is quite good and the sides (plain rice, fried rice and wedges) are ridiculously cheap. The cuban cigars are a little pricey however so bring your own.
The women in your group will be drooling over the handsome hotel manager.
The staff. The sweetest, most accommodating, funny and friendly staff we've ever encountered. Their good nature may be representative of most Cambodians we met, but these folks are just great. You should bring lots of small US bills as these folks really appreciate and deserve tips.
This resort is amazing! The accommodations are beautiful but pale in comparison to the loveliness of the staff. Everyone went out of their way to truly make you feel special - no request was too much. A sanctuary at the end of a day of touring. The food was so good, we had all our dinners here. we spent three nights at Phum Baitang and it wasn't long enough.
