How to Get There
I had a few days in Siem Reap and this was the perfect spot as home base. The hotel itself is absolutely spectacular. The villas are incredibly designed. The resort layout is exceptional and the design around a Cambodian village is amazing. It blends opulent luxury and local culture perfectly. The resort is just short bit out of the main town and is ideally situated to provide a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle in the evenings. Really...everything is absolute perfection!
We stayed in Phum Baitang for a week (3/2 - 11/2/2019) and can truly say that this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Actually it is not only a hotel, because you really feel at home.
The so friendly and professional staff, the philosophy of the management to create a future for the Cambodian employees and to coach them in an excellent way, the delicious food and so beautiful villa with pool we had, these are all unforgettable memories.
I also want to mention our tuk-tuk driver Leo, the most friendly and helpful tuk-tuk driver in the world ! And Mr Chun Pechey, who was our guide and taught us with passion everything we know about the rich culture and temples of the ancient empire of Angkor.
We plan to come back with our children !
Congrats to the Zannier family and carry on this way !

Those were my parting words to the general manager Giulio when I left Phum baitang. He runs to so well and this is evident in the whole crew that supports him. Equally impressive is David that helms the F and B,ever so hands on and so hardworking. the food, amazing yet generous.
A good hotel is one that can even anticipate the customers needs without even asking for it. They knew our dinner reservations timing and made the effort to only come in when we were out, without being told. Little things like that.
notable staff is Mai from the restaurant and touch from the pool who has been with the resort from day 1.
I cannot find the right words to describe this peaceful and beautiful resort. I just can't wait to go back and few resorts in the world make me say that.
From Singapore a short hop to the special Phum Baitang. The resort is 5/5 for service , quality of food and drink, and style/decor. The spa is also great. We went with our three daughters and the staff were very friendly and helpful with the kids. David was especially helpful and made our stay truly memorable. But All the staff were fantastic. We look forward to exploring other hotels under the same ownership before too Long. Lastly - Singapore travellers considering Bali or one of the islands such as Pulao Joyo or Nikki should seriously consider this option as it is easier to get to and the food is way better. Of course no beach but close to the cultural sites and circus!
Where to start, I can honestly say this was the most wonderful pace I have ever stayed at. From the staff to the rooms and the resort everything was absolutely perfect. There was not one thing I could fault. Our room was amazing. Beautiful interiors and ever so comfortable. The surrounding are peaceful and lovely with buffalos and rice paddy’s. At night the amazing sounds of frogs and crickets I could go on and on. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast was fab. Truly a most amazing stay!.
