How to Get There
I was part of a group that made Siem Reap a yearly destination and the Pacific Hotel was and has been the accommodation for the visit. We are always met by the friendly and professional staff members in the spacious lobby. Sreymom and Dalais, two of the hotel's competent and friendly hospitality specialists, keep us on their radar to make sure we are getting the best the hotel has to offer. In the newer wing where I stayed, the rooms are very clean and modern, light and spacious with tropical hardwood touches. The beds are comfortable with brilliant white sheets. There are modern bathrooms with a tub and a separate shower. Rooms are air-conditioned. There is a sumptuous breakfast buffet with western food, fresh Cambodian fruit, a noodle soup bar, salad bar, asian dishes and fresh bread and rolls. We stayed a week and it was our wonderful home away from home. I would be very happy to make it my trip HQ when I return to Siem Reap again.
We had an excellent experience in Siem Reap. The hotel is very clean, polite and friendly staff, superb food, our needs are well met! Our tour is also well coordinated by the hotel concierge. Very close to the airport and marketplace! Will definitely recommend this place.
Spent 3 night here and the hotel and staff cannot be faulted. We were greeted by a cold towel and drink upon arrival and this was very welcome. We were given a seat and check in was completed very quickly.
Room was in the colonial style and was well appointed and very spacious with everything we required.
We were on a bed and breakfast basis and there was an excellent selection although it should be noted aimed at the oriental market that the hotel attracts. If you like oriental food then you will not go hungry. Some of the morning soup was superb but there is a very extensive selection of food on offer.
The staff are some of the most courteous and friendly that I have came across on my travels and are a credit to the management. We had an issue with a trip which failed to collect us and one member of staff, Sreymom, was absolutely outstanding in trying to resolve the matter for us. Unfortunately we could not contact the trip provider but Sreymom quickly offered us the services of a hotel vehicle and a driver at a very reasonable price to enable us to have the trip we were looking for.
I have singled out Sreymom as she was always quick to check with you and assist in any way possible but all staff were of a similar standard always smiling and eager to assist.
We dined in the hotel one night and again it was faultless with excellent staff.
The only issue to be aware of, and this is nothing to do with the hotel, is that a lot of quests are Chinese and they are very loud and have no manners in the dining room and will push you out of the way to get to the food.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the main centre of Siem Reap and is an excellent base for exploring.
I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Siem Reap.
Everyone was so kind and accommodating! One night I only wanted a dessert after a late lunch, and they treated me as if I had ordered any other dinner... always appreciative and easy going. They answered questions, helped me figure out transportation here and there, and made my trip comfortable and easy!
The room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and plenty of food.
I loved the affordable pricing and flexibility of the spa staff! Staying open later and working in walk-ins made it so easy to agree to massages. Soeun and Ms. Leap on the spa staff are the best! They frequently checked in with me, and provided top-rate service.
I hope to be back soon! A true treat... and thanks to Ms Louanne Warren at Maupin Travel for recommending!
My husband and our young adult daughter enjoyed a marvelous stay at the Pacific Hotel. The three of us stayed in the lovely colonial room. The beds were perfect for a restful sleep. The buffet breakfast offered remarkable and diverse options, including items made to order and delicious options for fruit, juices, and pastries. The staff was remarkable. They were all kind and helful, making sure our needs were met and our visit was filled with engaging, fun, and customized trips. They helped us secure a driver and tour guide for our bisit to Angkor Wat and other temples. They organized an evening of dinner and Cambodian dance displayed in a lovey setting in town. The swimming pool was refreshing after a day or sightseeing and a visit to the National museum and the Artisan Angkor. Our tuk tuk driver Mr. Mean was perfect always knowing how to maneuver the streets of Siem Reap. The spa treatment was relaxing and calming, concluding a perfect visit to a remarkable place. We will return again to the Pacific Hotel and encourage singles, couples and families to stay at the Pacific Hotel and Spa. Thank you especialy to Soy Dalis the front office manager who made sure our stay in Siem Reap and the Pacific Hotel was perfect. Thank you all to the Pacific Hotel and Spa.
