With its mystical temples, glorious sunrises, bustling markets and array of pampering spas, Siem Reap is a treasure trove of adventure for all sorts of travellers. The colourful city is known as the gateway to Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage site that houses a multitude of archaeological wonders.
A stay at Pacific Hotel and Spa, just nine minutes by car from Angkor, will keep you close to the ancient Khmer empire while allowing you to enjoy modern conveniences and the chance to explore the rest of Siem Reap. The dramatic architecture of the hotel’s expansive compound is a mix of French colonial and classic Khmer, resulting in a regal, yet warm and welcoming space. Among its highlights, is the hotel’s pool, a massive lagoon right in the heart of the hotel grounds. Guests can also enjoy a pampering treat at the Ananda Spa. The four-star hotel has been awarded a TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.
How to Get There
Stayed at this hotel in their old wing. The air-conditioning in room is not effective at all. Sweating even without clothes on. Well be expectation of a 5-star hotel. But the new wing seems quite nice. Will avoid staying at this hotel if possible.
I was part of a group that made Siem Reap a yearly destination and the Pacific Hotel was and has been the accommodation for the visit. We are always met by the friendly and professional staff members in the spacious lobby. Sreymom and Dalais, two of the hotel's competent and friendly hospitality specialists, keep us on their radar to make sure we are getting the best the hotel has to offer. In the newer wing where I stayed, the rooms are very clean and modern, light and spacious with tropical hardwood touches. The beds are comfortable with brilliant white sheets. There are modern bathrooms with a tub and a separate shower. Rooms are air-conditioned. There is a sumptuous breakfast buffet with western food, fresh Cambodian fruit, a noodle soup bar, salad bar, asian dishes and fresh bread and rolls. We stayed a week and it was our wonderful home away from home. I would be very happy to make it my trip HQ when I return to Siem Reap again.
We had an excellent experience in Siem Reap. The hotel is very clean, polite and friendly staff, superb food, our needs are well met! Our tour is also well coordinated by the hotel concierge. Very close to the airport and marketplace! Will definitely recommend this place.
