- The illustrated murals in the guest rooms of this boutique retreat

- It's 15 minutes to Angkor Wat
- The friendly staff is all smiles
Angkor Wat, the grand Khmer structure that has towered for centuries in the heart of Cambodia is known for its otherworldly structures and fascinating mix of natural and man-made features. A stay at the peaceful La Residence Blanc D’Angkor will put you just 15 minutes away from its doorstep.
Stellar location aside, La Residence Blanc is a cosy haven and recipient of TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence. The grounds are lush with tropical greenery, all centred around a blue pool in the heart of the courtyard. Spend a quiet moment lounging by the pool and catch the sunset from a shady spot on the deck.
Inside, you’ll find each room to be chic and comfortable, the bedroom accompanied by a large balcony and couch. But what stands out is the exquisite mural that adorns the wall behind the bed. The murals are different in each room, each depicting a majestic piece of art or architecture from Cambodia’s history, bringing you closer to the Khmer culture.
How to Get There
Stayed here on two occasions in November and December whilst visiting the Angkor temples. The rooms are huge with enormous comfortable beds. We did not eat meals here other than breakfast so can't really comment on the food. We can, however, comment on the wonderful staff who were always so helpful whatever the occasion. In particular we remember Laura with her smile and Naren with his lovely new shoes! All the staff were great but sadly can't remember their names. The tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel were polite and efficient. Excellent value for money.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights . The staff makes sure that you have a hassle free check in and great stay . They are very quick to respond . A guide was arranged for us .
The rooms are good size . Very clean , loved the paintings on the walls. A small balcony let’s You to enjoy morning breeze. Swimming pool is cute and nice . We enjoyed a dip after hectic temple tour. The breakfast is very simple. There isn’t much option for a vegetarian like me. They must understand that there are people who do not eat egg too. There should be one or two things without the meat or egg. I could have only toast and cereal. Also they need to do something about small insects which sit on food . Overall we had a comfortable stay. Would recommend this place.
The staffs are very kind and hospitable, I love the ambiance and the food.Rooms are very clean and has unique designs. I will definitely comeback and recommend this to other friends and family. Thank You so much i had a great time staying in this hotel.
As cliche' as it sounds, this hotel served as my home in Siem Reap. The 4 day trip has been truly amazing. It's my first time to visit Cambodia and it automatically became one of the best experiences ever. Loved the breakfast, the ambiance and most importantly, the people. The people here such as the servers, room attendants, managers - they will give you the best smiles. I really felt warm the entire time and no, I'm not even talking about the weather. I just really felt warm inside. I was happy and taken care of.
I want to give them all a hug and show them my appreciation. They represent the true Cambodian spirit of hospitality, family and care. Felt sad leaving but really looking forward to meeting you again all in the future! <3
Super enjoyed my stay. I slept well. Room is comfortable. Relaxing ambience. I like everthing about it. Service is above my expectations, very accommodating staff. Food is great as well. Location is near markets, restaurants, and airport. I hope to see them again soon!
