How to Get There
The Puli Hotel its a must visit a point in Shanghai, the quality of the service it's excellent and the hotel staff very kind and polite. Would suggest the stay for anybody that is in the city for any business activities or leisure.
I’ve known about this hotel for years and was looking forward to staying there – and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Somehow, it feels like you have found a quiet sanctuary in the middle of a bustling city.
The hotel lobby atmosphere has a fantastic energy and the restaurant food is incredible. The guestroom is beautiful - I particularly loved adjusting all the lighting settings.
Amazing hotel, great design. You can feel how you leave the city behind as you get into the Puli's atmosphere, its beautiful Lobby which feels more like a lounge than a lobby where you can have a drink looking at the beautiful pond followed by the park it takes you away from the busy Shanghai to a more introverted retreat. The rooms are beautiful very elegant and you can feel how everything flow's into the same space. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Shanghai is a must experience.
Been back to The Puli earlier this month and have to say - Its still the best in Shanghai. Sophisticated styling, gorgeous atmosphere, great service, great crowd. A true home in Shanghai. 10 years and going strong - it might be like one of these old Bordeuxs that only ever get better.
The PuLi is a great hotel to unwind in busy Shanghai. Really special is the long bar overlooking a pond and parkland in the distance - in the middle of a mega city.
We had breakfast and lunch at the Phenix Eatery & Bar and were really pleased with the presentation and quality of the food.
Great place to stay!
