great hotel experience, location right on the bund
Reviewed 3 days ago

The hotel is located right on the Bund and is in walking distance of the Yu Gardens. Great staff, location and room. The concierge, Mark Wang, was very helpful, even for in planning excursions to surrounding regions like Hangzhou and Suzhou by rail if trying to do it on your own.
I really enjoyed the Chinese/western buffet breakfast before starting the day. Some tips. During the evening, after hours, none of the bank ATMs nearby accepted my US debit card so go down the street to Hongkong Shanghai bank(HSBC) during the day. Also, if you need a SIM card, there is a China Mobile store, open after 9 AM on 467 east jinling Rd. To get there, exit the hotel,, turn left and walk away from the Bund for about 15 minutes. Ask the staff to find out if it is open before going. We found a nice French pastry shop just beyond the China mobile store. The SIM card will be charged a monthly fee so you have to cancel it when leaving the country by calling 10086.

Perfect location in the Bund with a beautiful view. The insight decoration is very elegant. Flower arrangements are so refined and the candles give a very warm atmosphere.
The members of the team are professional
The concierges take very good care of you. Mark Wang was a great help to us.
The housekeeping lady is perfect, always with a smile.
As for breakfast, the buffet is quite good and very generous. Very well attended to by members of staff.
The bed is of extra quality, very nice room and bathroom, sober and elegant. Only regret, our room was not big enough and it was difficult to find a place to put our luggages.

Amazing view of the bund

Located right along the bund, we stayed at this hotel because of the location. Although it is not right outside a metro station, you can walk about 10 minutes to the closest one. The location is not bad, it’s a walkable distance to nanjing east rd which is the main shopping area and has quite a few malls.

The rooms are very spacious, stayed in the bund deluxe and it was clean.

Breakfast is not huge but good enough, mainly Chinese dishes available which is nice.

Hotel is also quiet, not noisy during the day and not noisy at night.

Would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something a bit more spacious and a room with a view of the bund!

We booked in this hotel with guest. Location is great is really in the middle of the bund with nice view from the room. Very very nice room. F&B is a little bit weak, not great breakfast but very nice place. It is a little bit uncomfortable as you need to take 2 lifts.
