How to Get There
The hotel is in a privileged location at the Bund with very good view to the Pudong area. The service is very good.
As a traveller what do I need more!
Special thanks to Mark Wang: you make me feel like a queen. Thank you!
It was really a good place to do nothing but stayed in the room whole night. You can see the Bund by the window and just spaced out. I will book this hotel if I visit Shanghai again. Good price–performance ratio.
I travelled quite a bit and stayed in expensive and cheap hotels, good and bad services, to be honest I never encounter a hotel will tell me: “I am not so not expect good service from us” when I request for help - particularly just deposit parcels at the concierge. On 18th July 21:30, the on duty concierge (tall, unclear pronunciation) came to my room and collect parcels that I need to deposit for someone else to collect, it’s quite a bit say 7 boxes to be honest, he picked up with annoyed face, and told me that: do not think our hotel service would be that great, do not expect such, you should do it yourself. Well, hotel providing service and rooms here are not that cheap like a budget ones, this is someone to be at your front line. Sorry Mark Wang, you were great when I checked in, but everything falls out just the day after, concierge do not willing to help with my extra luggages saying he is the only person on duty without even seeking for apologize for the inconveniences caused, and another who is so called in service line telling me do not expect good service from this hotel.
I am sorry Les Suites Orient, no next time and sadly to tell you I work in media, you will never get my recommendation!
