Numerous facilities for adults/families, with best accommodation available on Beau Vallon

Arrived early afternoon from UK, for check in, with junior suite already for occupation. Stayed on half board which includes full breakfast and themed buffet dinners in Vasco's, with 1502 bar for drinks. Lunch and drinks available poolside at Ripples. Three ALC restaurants where reservations are necessary. Trader Vic's (French-Polynesian), Eden (seafood/creole BBQ), and Seyshima (Japanese), which includes Sushi and two live Teppanyaki shows in the evening. Many thanks to the chef who advised the second sitting (less crowded), for my first ever Japanese meal, which was excellent. Friendly and very helpful staff including Dannia on reception.

Beautiful but expensive
Reviewed 6 days ago

This hotel is beautiful - the grounds, rooms and swimming pool are all stunning (although the pool needed cleaning more often). And it has great access to the beach.

But it is really, really expensive. For example:
- a burger costs 25 Euros
- a prawn salad was 27 Euros
- the evening buffet at Vascos was 60 Euros per person

On top of this, they add a 10% service charge to every bill.

I get it, it’s the Seychelles - it’s expensive. But this seemed like a big rip off to me.

In addition, the service itself is somewhat lacking. For example, the poolside bar - Ripples - only had one person serving at the busy lunch period every day we were there, which meant there were long waits to be served. Similarly at breakfast, there were only a couple of staff at times, which often meant going without coffee or tea as no-one came and took our order.

Check-in was really poor as well - it took ages. And then when we finally got to our room, they had to call for our luggage!

Too expensive

The Hotel is too expensive for what you get. Very bad service at the Buffet. Food was also nod good and a la card restaurant was not fully included in half board. Beach also nod nice. The room was nice and clean.

Paradis on earth

This resort was absolutely fantastic ! I enjoyed my stay. The beach is beautiful, a long stretch of white sand and transparent water. The staff is lovely, very welcoming ! And the food delicious, Prosecco for breakfast what a better way to start your day !

Never a 5 Star Resort! Food very good, kidsclub and Wifi good

It was our fist time in the Seychelles and we stayed for 1 Week. Kidsclub was good, my girl loved it. Thanks.

Different Restaurants in the Resort and food is amazing. I never had such good
Sushis 🍣🍤. Free Salsa course every wednesday. 💃🏼

Checkin was very poor, tables dirty and welcome drinks not ready for us and staff demotivated. One of the two rooms had a bad smell and room was to humide, due to A/C not working properly. After complaining, they fixed it. Smell was getting better.
A room in such condition can not be handed over to new arrivals!!!

Breakfast buffet is nice but Service is very poor. Nobody asks us for drinks; we always needed to call staff and waited to long. According to old reviews Management promised to improve the Service, but this did not happen until now. Very sad and wrong promises! Prices are far to high. 1 littre Perrier sparkling water 18 $!!

We never saw the Manager during our stay!

Pool very blurry and a lot of sand inside. Beach is public and not so clean and a lot of locals are around hotel. Especially on the weekend very busy, loud and some locals were drunk. Watersport activity the whole day, jetski noice!

No service provided at the beach at all. Never a 5 star!!
