How to Get There
We loved our stay at the H Hotel. Beautyful rooms, excellent food, especially at restaurant Eden and Seyshima. We were very pleasant served by Bishnu at restaurant Eden and Aysha from the reception!
We recommand this hotel! Superb!
We stayed at the H Resort on Beau Vallon for 7 nights booked on half-board in August 2018. Our stay was simply magical: the hotel made special arrangements for our honeymoon and they even offered a complimentary cake to celebrate. Along with the raw natural beauty of the Seychelles, this hotel contributed greatly in making our honeymoon unforgettable.
The staff went above and beyond in every possible way : a special thanks to Aysha, Peggy and Sanjay that were simply amazing with us. Service here is what sets this hotel apart from others.
In addition, we really liked the food at the Japanese restaurant Seyshima, (don't miss the teppanyaki show at 6.30pm or 9.00pm, needs booking in advance); and a special thanks to Chef there as well who makes food marvels. We also liked the food at the everyday buffet and the Eden restaurant.
We used extensively the fitness studio, which is excellent. My wife used the Sensel spa for a massage; and she loved it.
We liked the location of the hotel, which is quite central and not too far from Victoria and the airport. There is also a bus stop just outside of the hotel, which is not too bad as taxis in Mahe are expensive.
Highlights of our trip: visiting Praslin and La Digue, renting a car and visiting Mahe, watching the sunset on the Beau Vallon beach, eating breakfast by the ocean.
If you are coming for a special occassion, simply don't hesitate to pick this property.
We just spent 3 nights in this beautiful resort located just on Beau Vallon beach. The resort is recent and quite large but it never gives you an impression of crowd. In fact it is very calm and one can essentially hear birds, wind and waves.
We had booked a junior suite with a balcony. It was part of a small building with 2 floors (not including ground). The view gives on a garden behind the row of trees parallel to the beach. Only beach villas have a direct view to the sea. The size of the room was very large (55sqm) with all the comfort you can expect from this category of resort. Decoration was very nice as well. Very comfortable bed. If you don’t book a villa then all suites are almost the same, the only difference for garden suites being that they are on ground level.
The overall design of the common grounds (gardens, bridge over small lagoon, pool, reception area, restaurants) is amazing with a particular note for the reception hall. Huge mosaics, cathedral style roof, wooden sculptures, ... really impressive. At night, lightning is finely designed as well.
There are several restaurants in the resort, all quite expensive. We tried the buffet restaurant (Vasco’s) when there was a sega show, food was ok. We liked Trader Vic’s better.
My wife had a massage at the spa. Very pleasant!
One final word about the staff, always friendly and helpful.
To conclude I highly recommend this H Resort.
We stayed in a Beach Pool Villa which was one of the nicest rooms we have had the pleasure of staying in and we have stayed in many. We arrived early and were fortunate enough to get an early check in which was much appreciated. The villa was beautifully furnished and I really liked the indoor and outdoor bathrooms. The pool area was large with a good size deck, a nice big day bed and the pool itself was kept clean and well looked after - occasionally we found the odd crab that had fallen in overnight. We had steps to the beach which was really nice as I prefer swimming in the sea but the pool was an added bonus. Our rate included breakfast and this was served in the restaurant that served as Vasco's later in the day - breakfast had everything you could possibly ask for and was much better than the one we had at Hilton Labriz earlier in our holiday. The staff worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable especialy Sandeep who seemed to pop up everywhere we went, breakfast, Ripples Bar and Eden. The only time we didn't feel comfortable was during one of our visits to Ripples normally we sat at the bar and had a drink at lunch time but this particular day no seats were available so we sat on a table opposite the bar and the staff member in charge of that table told us in no uncertain terms that we shouldn't be there but for this once we would get served - not very customer friendly when most tables were empty. We walked into the small village to do a little shopping and also took the bus from outside the hotel into the capital Victoria for sightseeing both of which were easy to do. I really didn't want to leave but it gave me a good excuse for a second visit.
My daughter and I have had the most wonderful experience in the H Beau Vallon hotel.
My trip was one of the kind due to the beautiful safe environment, phenomenal villas , family friendly surroundings, beautiful beach and amazing hospitality from the hotel.
The hotel management Mr.“ Gerard Chan” and Mr. “Johannes Styen “ put great efforts to ensure the best high standard treatment during our stay.
Mr. Gerard “ the operation manager “was always demonstrating his outstanding professionalism responding to all our requirements beyond his duties and customer services bit .
