Thanksgiving Stay
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

6 of us including a 2 year old and 11 year old stayed here for 5 nights last week. We enjoyed our stay very much. Location is convenient but still quiet, 5 minutes from the strip.
Everything worked as it was supposed to, Two minor complaints, neither would keep us from staying here again. One was that the master bedroom was much colder than the rest of the condo, so it was hard to keep everyone comfortable. the other was garbage pickup which occurred almost every morning around 3 or 4 am. Most of us are early risers but not that early, Of course the condo people had no control over that.
We would stay here again.

Beautiful condo but zero hospitality!

Ironically this property was my first review as a Trip Adviser last year. The condo is still beautiful but I did learn something to beware of as a traveler. Read your contract! I tried to change our departure date 18 days prior to our arrival was met with a firm NO with NO exceptions inside of 30 days. That raised our daily rate from $263/day to $350/day. The $136 trip insurance only covers death, doctor certified illness with no previous conditions. Check in time of 3pm and check out 10am with a $50/hour late fee. Should you decide to change your plans outside of the 30 day window a $45 change fee. Reservation fee of $79 and a $85 cleaning fee. We could only stay 6 of the 8 days we planned to a tune of $2,105. This was our 3rd and last year there as we have attended the Smoky Show for nearly 30 years. A little hospitality please!!!

Absolutely Love Baskins Creek
Reviewed 3 months ago

My family recently stayed at Baskins Creek in Gatlinburg. We were worried about how our accommodations would be since we had never stayed here before. The condos we always stayed in had burned in the fire. These condos were amazing! They are plenty big enough for myself, my husband, my 19 year old son, and my 12 year old daughter. The whole building was very clean and well kept. The condo was very secure, having keypad entry for the elevator and condo. There was never any reason to go to the lobby. The passcodes were emailed to me and we were able to go straight to our room. We were within walking distance to Downtown or the trolley was also available. We are already planning to stay here in spring. We absolutely love Baskins Creek!

Highly Recommend!

This was everything we had hoped for! Super clean, beautiful decor, great location near downtown Gatlinburg and close to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. With fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils, plates, etc) no need to go out for breakfast. Was able to cook full breakfasts each day. Full sized refrigerator held all we needed for the week. Quiet balcony for early morning reading. Beautiful place. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to the area.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Baskins Creek is beautiful and in a great location to be able to walk to the strip in Gatlinburg. The room was clean, very large, great view of the pool, convenient parking and had a very comfortable bed. My only complaints were remembering the codes to the elevator and room (I just kept it on my phone so it would be handy), a few of the sink drains were clogged, lots of light switches that some didn't seem to cut anything on and the outdoor hot tub was closed for maintenance. All of this was minor and didn't bother our stay. We still enjoyed the private pool and had a wonderful time. Will definitely consider staying here again on another trip!
