I’ve got mixed emotions on this review

We just left this resort after a weeks stay in unit 113. While the property is Beautiful, well maintained, within walking distance to downtown and very comfortable, let me warn you about ANY units close to this one. You see,the garbage dumpsters are right outside the window and about 3am EVERYDAY the truck comes through and you will be awakened to what sounds like the dumpster coming through your room. NOWHERE in the condo description was that ever noted....can’t imagine why. Also, don’t call and ask to move your dates if you’re within the last couple weeks because it won’t happen. We were looking for a new place to call ours since the condos we had stayed at for 20 years burned in the Big fire of 2016. I did not want my money back, all I wanted to do is move my days and even book extra days and was told I couldn’t and I would loose my money. Because of this policy that their corporate bean counters have put in place,Wyndham will never have to worry about our business ever again.

Great place, great location

Very much enjoyed our stay at this condo (#406 in particular). We plan to return and would highly recommend this resort.

Pros:
-Location was great! Nice and quiet location yet literally a 3 min walk to the “main drag”.
-Safe and secure
-Awesome customer service from all staff we encountered.
-Our condo was plenty spacious (2 bed/2 bath), very clean and nicely decorated.
-Baskins Creek runs along the property so open the windows or balcony doors and let the sound come in.

Cons:
-None worth mentioning, if any

Disappointed

This was the 5th time we have stayed at this property over the years & was very disappointed this trip. We arrived on October 30 & checked out on November 6th. I cannot remember the unit # but we were on the 3rd floor. We know all the units are individually owned & assume are maintained by the owners. Our unit was very tired & in need of some updating, paint etc. Window screens were ripped, door moulding coming off, a piece of the microwave fell off onto the floor - & we weren't even in the kitchen at the time! The top rack of the dishwasher wouldn't slide out. One of the plugs in the master bathroom didn't work. Although the condo is in an extremely convenient area, we felt the unit itself should have been in much better shape for what we paid. Also, the elevator key code was not working our entire week & anybody could have gained access to the building. We didn't feel very comfortable about that because we were one of the only people staying there the first couple of nights. We did make all this information available in the survey that was emailed to us by the property management company but, never heard anything back.

Thanksgiving Stay

6 of us including a 2 year old and 11 year old stayed here for 5 nights last week. We enjoyed our stay very much. Location is convenient but still quiet, 5 minutes from the strip.
Everything worked as it was supposed to, Two minor complaints, neither would keep us from staying here again. One was that the master bedroom was much colder than the rest of the condo, so it was hard to keep everyone comfortable. the other was garbage pickup which occurred almost every morning around 3 or 4 am. Most of us are early risers but not that early, Of course the condo people had no control over that.
We would stay here again.

Beautiful condo but zero hospitality!

Ironically this property was my first review as a Trip Adviser last year. The condo is still beautiful but I did learn something to beware of as a traveler. Read your contract! I tried to change our departure date 18 days prior to our arrival was met with a firm NO with NO exceptions inside of 30 days. That raised our daily rate from $263/day to $350/day. The $136 trip insurance only covers death, doctor certified illness with no previous conditions. Check in time of 3pm and check out 10am with a $50/hour late fee. Should you decide to change your plans outside of the 30 day window a $45 change fee. Reservation fee of $79 and a $85 cleaning fee. We could only stay 6 of the 8 days we planned to a tune of $2,105. This was our 3rd and last year there as we have attended the Smoky Show for nearly 30 years. A little hospitality please!!!
