How to Get There
Best location ever, walking distance from Waverly station and Princes Street but also itself on George Street which has amazing shopping and eating/drinking places.
A warm welcome and excellent service as well as boutique beautiful interior. Our room had everything- even down to a lime and a shopping board for in room drinks.
Amazing bathroom with white stuff toiletries. Breakfast in bed with no tray charge added and arrived perfectly cooked and on time.
We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant where the menu was diverse and delicious.
Thank you for an excellent first stay Tigerlily.
We loved our stay at Tigerlily Hotel in Edinburgh. The room with 2 twin beds was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Great customer service and the martinis were very well priced and delicious! Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel and reasonably priced!
Air conditioning fan clanged in our room non stop for our entire 3 night stay. A maintenance engineer came to fix it and said these fans are old and known to do this and he will try to make it better but they probably need to be replaced. The noise may have become slightly less constant but continued. The hotel management did not follow up with our complaint to see if issue was resolved and did not offer to change rooms or offer compensation for the continued annoyance. The hotel advertises as a boutique mod and trendy boutique hotel but comes short on guest comfort and satisfaction and plain hospitality.
We had a fantastic couple of days in Edinburgh. The right choices where made in choosing the Tigerlily and the two restaurants we eat at. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing the usual places you visit in Edinburgh: the Castle etc and all the top restaurants are within easy walking distant, if you are a little bit more adventurous the tram is just around the corner. The décor of the Tigerlily is very modern and this includes our room, which was spacious and well laid out, our bed was very spacious too. The staff were so helpful and charming from the front desk to the chamber maids. We only had breakfast at the hotel but this was first class, you could have vitally what ever you wanted. Will visit again.
Lovely hotel staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you The food was well presented and very good quality Rooms of a high standard Light was broken in our bathroom and they upgraded us to a suite
