Having just returned from a weekend away to celebrate my wifes birthday I can 100% reccomend this hotel.
The hotel and grounds are stunning and in keeping with its description.
On arrival, meet by staff who were attentive, friendly and clearly enjoy their work.
Having booked an executive double room we were given an upgrade to a suite. This room was to one of the highest standard suites I have stayed in and a credit to the hotel.
We made use of the spa facilities, treatments and pool facilities.
Restaurant was outstanding with staff very attentive and food to a high standard.
The hotel bar had several seating areas so we were able to find a quiet area giving the feeling we had the hotel ourselves despite the hotel being fully booked with 2 weddings being hosted.
Breakfast in the restaurant was again to a high standard and despite number of guests staff were attentive.
A thank you to the hotel and staff for making a perfect birthday weekend for my wife.
We are already planning our next stay

We recently stayed at the Norton House and it was lovely. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the spa was good too. The food at Dinner on both evenings was excellent and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. Of course all of this comes at a price - it was expensive, but it was a rare treat and I would definitely recommend it to any couple.

90th birthday afternoon tea.

Chose this hotel as it had lovely lawns for my grandsons to let off some steam while the rest of the family had a leisurely afternoon tea to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday. From the initial enquiry, the hotel staff have been very attentive and helpful. Holli who took the booking and another lady who I spoke to in person were full of helpful suggestions which helped the day so much more special. In particular the slide show photos and having Appletizer as a toast so the children could join in. Kevin attending to us today was my knight in shining armour. Sorting out the photo slide show, taking lots of family photos and of course seving the tea. Not to mention taking away my stress. We had a room to ourselves which I was able to decorate with balloons banners and flowers. Today's young lady on reception was also very pleasant and approachable.
The food also deserves a mention. Lovely selection of sandwiches, fresh scones and delicious cakes. My grandsons had their own version, a big hit being chocolate spread sandwiches! Well done Norton House.
