This is a big hotel but lacks the magnificent style of other places in the neighborhood (Melacon) - however the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the basic ones have a small bath tub. it has a quiet floor if you desire to be out of any noice. The view from those rooms that look at the sea is also nice, diagonal on the costs so that you can enjoy the prospective of the coast line. The fitness center is small but well equipped. Same for the swimming pool.

Worst experience!!!!

I had a reservation confirmed at the hotel through the hotel’s website. When i arrived at the ppty at 11:30pm after a long trip, they made us wait around 10 minutes for check in, as soon as i was attended, they stated that unfortunately they were over sold, and that my room was not available although i had a confirmed reservation. They offered to transfer me to a lower class hotel. The night manager did not even care i had a reservation. It is the first time this has happened to me.

Great for events

I had a wedding there and also stayed for around 5 days. The F&B staff are amazing. From my wedding coordinator, Aylin, to the waitress, Victor was a start, they made these process go smoothly and perfect. Yalta gave me the attention I needed making me feel spoiled. The ballroom was beautiful, the food was amazing. Great drinks, great service. All my guests felt like royalty.

Beautiful views from the room. Splendid lobby area. HSKP and restaurant staff were extremely nice.

Nice and comfortable

This place is everything you would hope it would be, exceptionally tasteful, comfortable and welcoming. After slumming through some pretty rough hotels elsewhere on the island, this was almost like coming home. Well, almost except I would have expected complimentary drinking water, which has to be purchased. The location is rather empty as well, unless you happen to be there on a weekend evening with the Malecon livens up a bit.

Beautiful hotel

This is a beautiful hotel , well located on the malecon . The staff was very courteous and attentive . The room very clean and bed are very comfortable . The restaurant was good but a bit pricey. The only negative that I have to say is , they could supply a couple of bottles of water in the room for the guest . I had to call room service for 2 bottle of water for which I had to pay not only a room service fee but also the very high 28 % fee charges on services in the Dominican Republic. After complaining to the desk I was given 2 bottles of water on my way out . This caliber of hotel should be saving on bottle water in a room .i was told that this is a complaint of every client they have .
