How to Get There
We've enjoyed our stay at this very nice Boutique Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't feel at risk even if this hotel is near Plaza Italia (450m) where the Chilian manifestation took place. The big gate at the entrance kept us safe.
This hotel is a gem. Very nice small hotel in Santiago, very close to a lot of restaurants. Breakfast was just right, not too much over the top to chose from but you didn’t miss anything either. I loved the breakfast. Room was good, clean and comfortable. WiFi worked just fine.
If anything I would have liked the hotel bar to stay open after 10pm. After dinner out on the town you typically come back after 10pm and then the bar is closed for a nightcap.
Other than that it was very good. I would stay there again.
In fact the hotel found us! Our original hotel had to close suddenly due to the protests and we were switched to Casa Bueras by our other hotel. From the moment they met our taxi and walked us to the hotel to avoid the road blocks we felt truly welcomed and very safe. The hotel itself is beautiful and very stylishly decorated. Our room overlooked the terrace and courtyard garden and pool. With everything that was going on everyone in the hotel team gave us excellent advice to stay safe and provided wonderful food when we couldn’t leave the hotel that evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the wonderful friendly team that gave us so much help.
