How to Get There
The hotel is conveniently located walking distance to everything. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are cute. They provide all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
My husband & I stayed here for our wedding night and it was perfect! Upon arrival (well after midnight) the host greeted us with a bottle of wine because they said we had missed wine tasting hour. The lobby is beautiful, quaint, and eclectic. When we got up to our room, there was a bottle of champagne awaiting us and rose petals all over the bed. It was a beautiful sentiment for our first night as a married couple! The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked with all the essentials and more. We can't wait to go back someday.
My hubby and I absolutely love this place! It is our 3rd visit, and will be our only destination of choice. The hospitality here is beyond the norm and they go above and beyond anyone’s expectations! You will be so thrilled with the ambiance, the morning scent of chocolate croissants baking and the evening pie and afternoon wine! I can go on and on! Besides being walking distance to beach and great eateries, who needs to leave the USA? I’m staying here as long as I breath! I will be back over and over again!!
Great place to stay for the Avila Golf Course Concert Series, just a short walk, no parking hassles!
We love you guys, we smile from ear to ear every time we pull in!! God bless all of you!! Marti & Johnny
This hotel definitely has its own thing going. It has very thoughtful touches from the moment you park to the moment you depart.
Covered parking with easy ins and outs has an elevator with luggage carts to take you to the lobby or 2nd floor rooms. Check in is at a large desk with comfy chairs. Upon check in you recieve 2 stemless wine glasses. From the check in desk you can admire all of the beautiful touches this hotel has. You can also see the reception room where you will not be disappointed by the offereings throughout the day. Get the croissants! Get the pie!
The room is uniquely decorated. Lots of thought and detail put into the creation of the space. Our room had a door which opened to a tiny "balcony". There are rooms that have a balcony with a table, which I would recommend. The balconies have no real view though. The bathroom has a towel warmer, which is something I had never had in a room before. The fireplace is a nice touch.
The location of the hotel is easily accessible to all of Avila. Restaurants are a quick 5 minute walk, as is the boardwalk with gorgeous ocean views. The beach is easily accessible as well. I recommend an evening walk to view the stars.
The only downfalls we had were the bed needs to be replaced, and there was a cleaning smell-I think on the bed cover-that was overpowering. We missed the ocean views of a neighboring hotel we stayed at. Would I stay here again? Probably. $100 less per night and those chocolate croissants make it probable.
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you're traveling with your dog. The hotel's hospitality was exceptional and the town of Avila is very dog friendly which made our entire trip very enjoyable.
