How to Get There
We recently stayed 4 nights in a two bedroom suite with another couple. This is the 4th time we have stayed here when we visit the Central Coast wine country and it won't be the last! The well stocked kitchen lets us enjoy the option of having breakfast in our room before our day starts. The property is beautiful and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One in our party usually visits the Spa and she loves the treatment there. Overall a great experience!
Can’t go wrong staying at the Dolphin Bay! A little slice of paradise in our own backyard! Perfect escape for our family and look forward to our next stay!! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful with plenty of room for all of us to spread out and be comfortable. Then there is the tranquility of the view!!
We just completed a 4 night stay at Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa and I can't say enough nice things about the entire experience! The suite we stayed in was ocean front, with a large balcony, a fully equiped kitchen, upgraded amenities, and a very comfy bed! The employees went above and beyond to make sure each guest is treated extremely well, always eager to help, so very attentive with a great attitude and professionalism. We chose this resort because it was pet friendly and faced the ocean. When we arrived, two pet beds were set out in the dinning room, pet bowls were there, ready for us to fill with their food and water. We even took them down to the restaurant each day, to dine with us. They had a great time playing on the leash free beach, located very close to the resort, and liked their multiple walks every day, along the paved walkaway along the ocean. The pool is heated and the chairs around the pool, very comfortable. Everything about the resort is extremely well maintained and clean! Highly recommend this property for anyone who loves the ocean, to book for their next vacation!
We just returned from a 4 day stay at this beautiful resort. Our room was a two bedroom executive suite on the ocean and wow! the views were stunning. The restaurant Lido was delicious and the pool was very nice. There is a short walk down some steps to a beach area shared with the hotel next door where you will find some fun tide pools and a secluded area of peace and beauty.
The reason I gave it a 4 was unfortunately related to housekeeping. On our first full day there we left our room around 9am and returned around 1pm to a room that had still not been serviced. We had planned to go to the pool anyhow so I asked the front desk to be sure to have our room serviced while we enjoyed the pool. We returned to our room about 4:30pm and the room was still untouched. I was not happy. As I called to the front desk to ask what went wrong the attendant gave me the "we were very busy today" excuse and that really irritated me. When you are paying nearly $800/night you shouldn't have to beg to have your room cleaned and you definitely should not be made to feel unimportant as I did with that comment. They did send someone over right away to make the beds and give us fresh towels but a real service it was not. Sadly it got a little worse because of the three nights we were there, we only got the evening turndown service once.
This is something that needs to be remedied. It was a drag to have to worry about housekeeping. It's too bad because this is a beautiful with a lot to offer.
This hotel was everything promised—and more. The two bedroom suite was beautifully appointed and huge, the views gorgeous. But the real stand out was the service. From the porters to the front desk staff, every single employee was kind and courteous and went out of their way to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
