Visit the bar

Service is always quick and welcoming at Amuse. Colin is one of the nicest and most professional bartenders you'll meet. The rotating local beer taps frequently have fresh and delicious options. I will be back!

Nice and friendly hotel

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a venue in the Science Research Park. Arrival was met promptly by friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk who efficiently processed my reservation. I was assigned a nicely-sized corner room that had two banks of windows; assigned room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Everything worked well, re: climate control, and wifi. Room had sufficient and facile access to power outlets adjacent to the work desk and bed - that was appreciated by this business traveler. Bed was comfortable but could do with firmer pillows; wash basin was outside the bathtub/shower and toilet. Service at the bar and restaurant were excellent. Location of hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown La Jolla but is walking distance to a mall with a nice range of restaurants. This is a well-functioning establishment worthy of your consideration.

Oh Neilli we shall return!

We arrived into the hotel and a tad hacked off as had thought it was actually in la Jolla! It’s not but a short bus journey takes you to the coast .
The room was fine, no 1507,and a small balcony just about gave us a peek of the cove ! But of course we love the fabulous Marriott beds so we had a great nights sleep x
However it was the service offered by Abigail and Neilli that made the difference and changed what was a pretty non event hotel night into a welcoming stay and even a thought that we should return x Marriott cherish these lovely ladies as they are your greatest brand ambassadors x
