Set on a dazzling half-mile strip of stunning beach and surrounded by 56 acres of tropical garden, the Taj Exotica is one of Goa’s best luxury hotels. The colonial-inspired resort features a grand marble lobby with a vaulted ceiling that overlooks palm-fringed lawns. The spacious guestrooms have private balconies overlooking the sea or the gardens, and the marble-clad bathrooms are equipped with tubs and walk-in showers. The extensive dining options include Alegria, for traditional Goan fare; Eugenia for Indian and Continental specialities; Li Bai for upscale Chinese; Miguel Arcanjo for Spanish, Italian and Moroccan cuisine; and the seasonal Lobster Shack for freshly caught seafood. For total relaxation, make a beeline for the award-winning Jiva Spa and request a Vishram aromatherapy massage in a private pavilion (open seasonally) by the Arabian Sea. Then follow that up with a Palm Kiss Martini and a prawn-chili-olive skewer at the glam wood-paneled lobby bar, Adega Camoens.
In the Area
There’s a lot more to Goa than sunbathing and partying. Yoga enthusiasts flock to the northern village of Mandrem, where Ashiyana’s famous Rejuvenation and Detox programs are offered. To explore Goa’s Portuguese colonial past, head to the church of St. John the Baptist. The building’s sparkling white façade has been a Goan landmark for more than 400 years. For some of the best chicken vindaloo in India, visit Viva Panjim, a tiny family-run restaurant in the city of Panaji known for its tasty Goan staples and other Indian delicacies, as well as its international cocktail menu.
How to Get There
Was great stay and the service of Taj is Remarkable, only the thing is no veg restaurant nearby the resort, for which j hired bike to roam in city for shopping. Food service and quality is good, staff is curtious. Room size and interior is awesome giving luxurious feel. Resort is located near beach having internal access to beach which is very clean. Swimming pool is good, resort having many activities to do like cycling, gold and crixket, football etc. Nice pakoda and mumbai cutting tea near pol area at 3:30pm with ice cream complementary. Overall nice resort with amount paid.

The overall stay was very comfortable. The hotel has a great variety of rooms and is a large property with 56 acres of land. The rooms have all facilities present with fast and efficient room service. The restaurants had a great variety of delicious food. The staff extremely benevolent and courteous. There is a large yet clean beach and all indoor and outdoor sports activities and games are present.
June 2019 was my 5th trip to Taj Exotica. One cannot ask anything more. Excellent hospitality, clean beach, clean rooms, everything is spacious and well maintained.
If someone wants best of everything please do visit this place.
We had such an incredible time the 5 days we spent in Goa at this beautiful property - our wonderful private bungalow had a pool we used every night, swimming under the stars. The grounds are stunning, clean and the food was exceptional. We will definitely be back!
