Grand Hotel Billia lies in the heart of the Italian Alps, surrounded by some of Europe's highest mountains and nestled in the verdant greenery of the Aosta Valley. Saint-Vincent's lofty location, nearly 600 metres above sea level, affords it a temperate micro-climate and, with mineral springs bubbling up here too, it makes for a pretty spectacular holiday destination.
Grand Hotel Billia is one of two hotels within the Saint Vincent Resort & Casino complex. The hotel's impressive façade echoes the region's traditional architectural style, whilst inside a plethora of modern amenities and contemporary comforts await. Large windows make the very most of those stunning views and the spa is built around the area's therapeutic waters.
Soak up the sun with some time spent around the outdoor pool, or indulge with a massage; you'll find treatment rooms that also look out over the surrounds. The resort's dining options here are as impressive as the views, with three fine-dining restaurants, a casual spot for a light bite, a stylish buffet space and five, modern bars. And let's not forget the on-site casino, with both table and electronic games.
Classic rooms are contemporary in style, with lovely views over the area. Hardwood floors give way to crisp white linens and each comes with a modern, en-suite bathroom that incorporates local granite into the design.
The resort offers a plethora of elegant dining environments, from the contemporary climes of La Brasserie du Casino to the refined ambience of 1908 - Resort Restaurant. Gaya Mood&Food is a great spot for a laid back bite, whilst there are five bars to choose from for an evening tipple. Le Rascard is the resort's banqueting restaurant, with sumptuous buffets laid out within large glass windows, with views over the verdant surrounds.
L'Eve is the resort's generously proportioned wellness centre, that's been built around the therapeutic properties of the area's glacial waters. The indoor pool is enclosed by huge, picture windows that seemingly bring the outside in, whilst the outdoor pool boasts temperature control affording it a comfortable degree whatever the weather. Relaxation rooms come complete with massage beds that overlook the stunning scenery, with treatments that incorporate natural elements from the Aosta Valley.
Grand Hotel Billia is situated at the foot of Mount Zerbion in Saint-Vincent in the heart of Aosta Valley - a region of Italy that's strewn with wonderful scenery, thermal baths and ancient castles. Saint Vincent's situation 575 metres above sea level affords it an attractive micro-climate that has garnered it the nickname 'Riviera of the Alps'. The waters of Saint-Vincent's natural springs were discovered in 1770 and are recognised as having curative effects, particularly for respiratory diseases.
