Overview

A high-end design hotel on the glittering Côte d'Azur, just down the street from the Riviera's iconic beaches

The Lowdown

Boasting a sleek, modern exterior and a location just minutes from the beach, the minimalist Kube Hotel Saint-Tropez is one of the area’s hippest boutique hideaways. Located in Gassin, just 10 minutes outside Saint-Tropez itself, this five-star beacon of style promises a blissful getaway. Expect charming cafés, trendy beach clubs and lovely views of one of the world’s most iconic coastlines.
Despite the impressive location, you may find it hard to leave this luxe retreat. Channel your inner Brigitte Bardot as you bathe peacefully in the two exquisite pools, or squeeze in a quick workout in the fitness room. If slowing things down is more what you had in mind, the exquisite massages and beauty treatments at the spa will certainly help you unwind. And when you’ve worked up an appetite, grab a tasty bite and a refreshing drink on the terrace – the perfect way to end an evening on the Riviera.

Rooms

Rooms here are bright and welcoming, with tasteful décor and comfortable, high-end furnishings. Classic rooms start you off at 270 square feet and are decorated in a peaceful white color palette. Klub rooms are more spacious, featuring a lovely seating area and a hip, Scandi-chic vibe.

Dining

Simple and perfected beyond reproach, the à la carte menu at Marius, the hotel’s restaurant, comprises a select choice of European classics, including an exquisite selection of French desserts. A second restaurant, 1K, is open during the summer. Elsewhere, The SkyBar is the perfect spot to sip a refreshing drink and enjoy lovely views of the bay.

Location

Kube Hotel Saint-Tropez is located in Gassin, on the breathtaking French Riviera. It’s a ten-minute drive to the center of Saint-Tropez, and the hotel even offers a complimentary shuttle service. Synonymous with the jet set, this chic destination is renowned for its high-end shopping, glamorous beaches and exquisite restaurants. We recommend visiting Place de la Garonne for a Riviera shopping spree and kicking back at Pearl Beach for a bit of people-watching.

Fantastic hotel!

Fantastic and very clean rooms, love the design of the hotel, the staff is very friendly, perfect location and free shuttle service to Saint Tropez centre, big pools with very relaxing sunbeds. It is the best place to stay for a vacation in Saint Tropez!
We had some water problems during our stay and the staff did their utmost to make the stay of all guests as comfortable as possible by giving us loads of bottles of water, upon checkout we even got a refund on the room! Very very good service of the hotel! This was our second stay at the hotel and we will most definitely come back to the KUBE!

The hotel is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The room was incredible, clean, spacious. Everything was simply perfect and I would definitely come back.

You also cannot go wrong with the restaurant in the hotel. Excellent food.

water, water, and not a drop to...shower?
Reviewed 7 days ago

Admittedly, it might be considered unfair to review a hotel that had NO WATER during the length of our entire 3 day stay...but surely it is a test of hospitality? After arriving Friday night my husband yelled from the bathroom :"There's no water!" And indeed, there was not, nor was there any that night, or the next day, or the next. Unfortunately the hotel was not proactive. They did not communicate with any of the guests to inform them about this major inconvenience. Instead they left it up to us - to call, to plead, to ask why, and when, and how. 4 bottles of mineral water delivered to our room was a nice gesture, as was the offer to bus us to a neighbouring hotel to shower, but these things were offered only after complaining. With three lovely pools to choose from but no way to brush your teeth, shower or flush the toilet...for an entire weekend...and THEN to refuse us late check out on Sunday in order to finally do those things (we were told that the water was going back on at one o'clock) well, it just seemed a bit mean. After I complained they did allow me to use a bathroom in another room, but this was after I had already checked out and packed all my things. As far as the hotel design goes, everything in the rooms is, as you might have guessed - square (KUBE- geddit?). This included the toilets. Hmmmmm....ouch? And what genius designer decided that sinks (square) with zero surface space are a good idea? They are not. Or that night tables (square) with a curiously slanting surface serve any purpose? Or that pretty hangers coated with giant faceted beads might not snag clothing? Or that sleek (non-square!) doorknobs with so little purchase you need an oven mitt to turn them aren't anything other than incredibly frustrating? All this aside, the staff were attractive and pleasant, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle into St Tropez for all guests, the breakfast was delicious, rooms spotless, each bathroom is supplied with fragrant Carita products (too bad I didn't get to use them!), and there's an adorable jar of chocolate chip cookies by the bed. KUBE, I wanted to love you - I just wish you'd put notes about the situation under our door, brought us buckets of pool water, perhaps offered us a glass of complimentary consolation champagne, and absolutely given us a late checkout.

Perfect hotel in Saint-Tropez
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We travel a lot and we couldn’t remember the last time when we left a hotel and said to each other: there is nothing to complain about it - it isjust a perfect hotel!

The whole hotel resort is beautiful with three pools and a wonderful garden. The staff is extremely helpful and is taking care of you.

We had a smaller room in the main building on the second floor with a wonderful sea view from the bedroom and bathroom. Even the room was not big, there was a small walk-in wardrobe with a lot of space. The bathroom is spacious with a separate toilet. There is a fridge and coffee machine. They also offer a bottle of water every day. The room was very clean and the turn down service was excellent with new towels and cleaning of the bathroom.

The hotel serves an oustanding breakfast and we both could not remember when we had such a perfect breakfast buffet. It starts with freshly made juices, excellent coffee, best almond croissants, fruits etc. You can enjoy the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and the boats in the bay of Saint-Tropez.

Another plus is the well equipped gym. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Saint-Tropez 24 hours.

We also had dinner at Marius restaurant as the second restaurant was still closed in June. The food was wonderful from the amuse bouche, starter, main course and dessert. With some wine it comes easily to 200 EUR for 2 people which is not cheap but comparable to the beach clubs and good restauants in Saint-Tropez.

The most GORGEOUS resort!!
Reviewed 1 month ago

I don't know where to start about this beautiful resort. It was the absolute highlight of our 14 day trip in the french riviera. GORGEOUS, PERFECTION, the BEST service. From the moment we arrived everything was absolutely wonderful, the grounds, the room, the pools, the views, and most of all the extremely helpful & kind staff. What a wonderful experience. The pools & the views - I can't even begin to describe how fabulous they were. One very helpful amenity was the shuttle service the hotel offers, SUPER helpful for us, as it made getting into town quick & easy. Another favorite amenity was the variety of FREE movies in different languages. Usually we aren't able to watch much television in English while traveling so this was a nice change for us. Everything about our stay was just perfect, would HIGHLY recommend!
