Excellent Food and Access to great beach

Ate here on Saturday, it was chill and easy to get a park and table at the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food was great, and swimming off the pier was so fun. We ended up renting towels US$2.50 and stayed for 4hrs! I’d highly recommend this place. Beach was chill, swim up bar and great food.

Perfect Honeymoon

We booked our apartment in Port St Charles given the excellent reviews.
I have to say we were not disappointed. We arrived at about 5pm as getting through security took quite a while at the airport. We had booked a driver in a advance who was there to meet us.
Took about 45 mins to get to to Port St Charles.
We were then given our unit as they call them .
The apartment was a huge one bedroom lagoon view with balcony.
The view was amazing, We were expecting just the lagoon view but we also had a sew view as well straight across the marina. We couldn’t have asked for better.
The apartment was fully equipped. Washing machine, tumble drier , every appliance you could think of .

We went for dinner at the yacht club on our first night , the food was excellent. I had a pasta dish with shrimp, the shrimps are huge, lovely and very filling.
We found our way around Speightstown. We walked in most days takes about 15-20 mins . Local supermarket has everything you need.
Barbados is expensive, but we knew that before we arrived . Our best place to eat was Hugo’s in Speightstown which is a relatively new restaurant. We had the specials menu lunch and evening $110bbd with a complimentary glass of wine, food is outstanding , the wines are also excellent. The service was also very good.
The water taxi which takes you to the yacht club and the beach is a great idea.
We had an amazing honeymoon at Port St Charles, would love return one day .

This is a must stay

We hired an apartment in Port Saint Charles which overlooked the harbour and drove around the small beautiful complex in a golf buggy. We opened up our windows every morning and could see nothing but blue sea, blue sky’s. Beautiful. The apartment that we hired was beautifully furnished lovely artwork on the walls just about every think you’d want in your own home. We ate in the clubhouse Which could be pricey and to be fair you can eat well all over Barbados and the food is just as good but You’re also paying for your surroundings. The holiday was expensive but I always say you get what you pay for and I considered every penny very well spend

We had lunch at the Yacht Club Restaurant, the experience was excellent. I loved the ambience, we felt very much welcomed.
The food was very well prepared and tasted great.
Our waitress Jennifer took really good care of us, she's an excellent employee.
I would definitely come again and I am already recommending it to our friends back home in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Amazing, luxurious and well maintained place to stay right on the beach with views of the lagoon and sea - the staff are very friendly and the complementary water taxi was very useful and a nice touch. The apartment we stayed in was owned privately and leased out for holidays, etc and was of an excellent standard. The on-resort restaurant, The Yacht Club, has good food at reasonable prices and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the staff are excellent and their pool (with poolside bar) is a nice addition. Speightstown is only a 15 minute walk along the beach which has a range of shops/bars/restaurants. Overall an excellent holiday and highly recommended.
