So magical you have to blink often!

So I booked this almost too perfect hotel based solely on sorting via Reviews. Boy did I nail it. My fiance is from Jamaica, born and raised and couldn't believe how amazing this Villa hotel was hidden in plain site. We arrived March 18th. So food first...Conroy fed us daily. I recall the nicest gesture of him not cooking what I ordered because "...it was not freshly delivered" I loved that executive decision. Salted Mackerel, Freshly baked banana bread, fruit daily, everything we ordered was excellent! We travel often enough to know when charges are crazy and the prices were reasonable. We checked in the Coconut Suite. We then walked the grounds. We felt like the only couple because we only saw two other couples at dinner! Talk about private, quaint and surreal! The photos have zero filters used! You will enjoy every inch of this whimsical place! Our villa had full kitchen but I ate at Christopher's everyday we stayed on site. The front desk will help you with everything you can desire from coordinating groceries, things to do, books to read and the kayaks to rent. They really made us regret not booking a longer stay!

Amazing Honeymoon!!!!

We had the best time at Hermosa Cove. Such a quaint and BEAUTIFUL little community. It was so intimate and the people (including the owners who we talked to) were SO incredible. We also met a man who works in the gardens named Hopeton, who was such an inspiration and amazing young man. He gave us a tour around the property one morning and told us all about the culture and trees and fruits (and more!!) We will definitely be back in the future. They keep the grounds immaculate - full of fresh vibrant flowers and lush greenery. Highly recommend the treehouse - where we stayed during our visit. The woodwork in the treehouse was awesome and it was such a wonderful experience.

We LOVED it!

Hermosa Cove is really quite lovely. If you are looking for small, quiet, out of the way place to relax and enjoy nature, Hermosa Cove is perfect. That is exactly what we wanted and what we got. The villas are super comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of local flair. We had a lovely outdoor living space that includes the small pool. It was perfect. The way the grounds are situated, you have the best of both worlds -- the beauty of the rain forest with all the amazing foliage, flowers and birds -- and you have the beauty of a calm Caribbean sea. The grounds are amazing. The staff does a great job of keeping everything impeccable -- down to keeping the leaves off the beach. Its a small beach and small pool area but they are both lovely. The babbling brook next to the three tiered pools was SO relaxing. And often we had either the pools or the beach to ourselves. It was that laid back and quiet. The owners are true artists and their handiwork is everywhere -- so many creative and yet homey touches. The staff was super friendly, accommodating and totally focused on ensuring that we had a great experience. Even though there was construction going on, they work hard to keep it contained and not bother the guests. Our only real issue is that in our villa we could here the noise from the road, which was distracting around rush hour. Overall, we highly recommend it.

we, just spent another week in early april at Hermosa cove, we booked the tree house, everything about the resort is first rate and we had a great time, the food, the people that work there, the 3 tiered pool, the beach, the broken rudder bar, the grounds, everything is about as nice as anywhere you might want to go !! broken rudder is a really cool bar to hang out at, the pool area is the most unbelievable pools you will see, the tree house is really funky cool, from setting on the balcony looking out at the water for morning coffee, to relaxing in a romantic bubble bath in the outdoor soaking tub on the back deck is incredible !!! you can walk the grounds and hear birds and see more foliage than you will ever see anywhere else !! yes, there is construction going at the resort and probably will for awhile but it did bother us much so do not let this stop you from booking a stay here !! you will not regret your choice and will talk about coming back as soon as you get back home !!

My wife and I stayed in the Mango Suite for three nights. From the beautiful sun rises to the breathtaking sunsets we enjoyed every moment of our stay. It is the perfect place to relax and unplug. At times we felt like we were the only people at the resort. Kamika in the main office was an absolute delight and assisted with anything we needed. We look forward to our next stay at Hermosa Cove.
