How to Get There
We really enjoyed ourselves the food was absolutely amazing and the drinks!! There is tons of things to do and the staff did an amazing job accommodating your every need! I’m handicapped and ambulated with a walker I thought I would have a hard time but no I didn’t they drove me everywhere that was to far to walk and placed our room directly by the beach and restaurant! We’re already planning our next trip back!!
We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. The resort is small which we loved because nothing was ever over crowded, though we did go in the "off season" in July, so I don't think they were fully booked, but we never had a problem getting a seat anywhere or having to wait to do any activities. The staff was SO friendly. We didn't come across one person working there that didn't immediately say hello or treated us poorly. The main beach is small but beautiful, lined with palm trees and umbrellas, and the bar is right there no matter where you sit. Tahiti, our housekeeper for the week, was so sweet and courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. The mini bar was stocked daily, and stocked with extra things we requested if you put your door hanger out on time. Room service was prompt and great for a meal in. We also did a private dinner on Sunset beach and it is worth every penny. We had the entire beach to ourselves with a private waitress (Kadene, who was lovely) and a private chef (Jenelle, also lovely). The entire trip was exactly what we wanted: Good food, good drinks, and relaxation. We stayed in the One Bedroom Ocean Suite and it was a great room. The balcony was a wonderful view of the beach and ocean, and the sitting area was a lovely addition to our room. We didn't mind hanging out in our room one bit because it was so nice. The shower was amazingly large with windows overlooking the water. We chose a couples only resort to stay away from the party crowd and have a quiet vacation and that's exactly what we got at Sans Souci. Some advice, bring bug spray, you'll need it at night, and prepare yourself for a 2 hour ride to and from the hotel. It's well worth it though!
This was our 4th visit to Sans Souci and it was as good as the other visits. There are still some familiar faces which is nice but some excellence bar staff that went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time thanks to Trevado and Glendon also Demome and Shamoy.
Service could be a bit hit and miss at times but that I think is due to the number of new trainees that have been taken on. Food quality in Casanova is excellent along with great service. Food choice in the Palazzina during lunch was excellent and breakfast is fantastic big shout out to Carol the omelette chef who sang every morning and was infectiously happy ????
There is a planned refurbishment of the older rooms and some other areas and I’ll look forward to going back and seeing the improvements.
The sea generally gets a bit rougher in the afternoon which does make snorkelling hard if u are not a strong swimmer, however the dive team are in hand and always helpful. Did not dive this year as there’s not been loads to see in previous times.
The entertainment team were very engaging this year and enjoyed the quizzes and jewellery making.
We still love Sans Souci and we will be back. Well done all the team you are fantastic.
