Intimate six-room retreat on the banks of the Tiber, a 15-minute stroll from the Spanish Steps
On the banks of the Tiber, a short stroll from the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona, Luxury on the River is a characterful crash pad with just six guestrooms. The minimalist interiors are offset by antique furniture, plush velvet couches and colorful artworks. Lofty ceilings and huge picture windows keep things light and bright. The six guestrooms feature putty-colored walls, ash-gray wood floors and leather-look padded headboards, and the bathrooms feature chunky bowl sinks. The spacious Junior Suites are split-level and overlook the river, and the Executive Room has a Jacuzzi tub. There's no restaurant, but the small breakfast room is a light-flooded spot overlooking the Tiber, with a crackling fireplace and shelves stuffed with books.
