How to Get There
Our stay at this resort was amazing. The resort is smaller in size compared to other resorts we have stayed at but it did not disappoint! We did not travel with children therefore we spent most of our day at the adults only pool. On the weekends the pool was more entertaining than during the week. We would have preferred music every day, not just the music played throughout the resort. Our room was very spacious and the balcony was also a nice size for ourselves and friends to hang out on. The restaurants throughout the were great. A large variety of food at each so even the “picky” eaters could always find something to eat on the menu. The Italian place was our favorite for evening meals while Spoon, the buffet, was great for breakfast. The beach BBQ was also great as it offered a different theme each day and a fun atmosphere being on the beach. After the evening shows ended there was not much to do. The Mojito bar and lobby offered some entertainment but overall evenings ended fairly early (for those without children). The staff at this resort was by far the best of any other resort we have stayed at. I would like to recognize a few who provided us exceptional servicing, making our stay here that much better. The activates group who kept our husbands occupied while we relaxed pool side and soaked up the sun and enjoyed some cocktails. Diego, Hernando, Lucera, and Linda kept the guys entertained. They always came back to the pool with fun stories from the day’s activities. While walking through the resort they would always say Hi from afar when they saw our husbands and by the end of the stay they were even saying Hi to us pool goers. The adult pool staff - Blanca, Marino, Daniel these individuals really took great pride in their work. Instead of just making and bringing us drinks they also interacted with us. Really made us feel like we were the only people at the pool. They were extremely friendly, always smiling and look to be enjoying their work.Luis at the Zavaz Deck bar saw us just about every night for our nightcap. We talked back and forth with him about our cultures as well as casual conversation. When he saw us walking up he would start making our drinks so they were ready by the time we took a seat. Talk about service and a good memory! The ladies in the group enjoyed some time at the spa. I had Rita each time and I must say her hands are amazing. She was attentive to my requests and didn’t speak more than necessary allowing me to really relax. We would highly recommend this resort and look forward to returning in the future.
Brilliant place, staff where superb, pools where superb, layout was superb, cocktails where superb, restaurants where superb, bedroom was superb, food was exceptional (although we didn’t try the A la carte, but heard good reports! I have no complaints!
We visited for a week at the end of November and had an amazing time. During the day we were very looked after by Blanca and the team at the adult pool and swim up bar. Our favourite restaurant was hands down the Italian. We had read that there was no nightlife, however the Mojito bar was busy until almost 1am most evening with good music on and very friendly staff. Overall we had an amazing time with probably the friendliest staff of any all inclusive that I've been to. p.s. Blanca is great!
The resort past the lobby is beautiful the food was exceptional. The rooms and room staff were wonderful. The majority of the staff were friendly and very attentive. David up at the Mojito bar was the best! Blanca and the bartenders at the adult pool were very hard working. The lobby and entertainment areas are very odd and potentially dangerous, steps and different levels and a extreme amount of stairs up to the entertainment area. I think you should use the outdoor Starbucks space for entertainment or a bar. Or the very least a ice cream bar. Such a wasted beautiful space! Starbucks is not included it’s extra? That did not impress me? There are a lot of up charges here. But we didn’t need them to make our holiday enjoyable. The adult pool needs a closer washroom and maybe some extra lounge chairs. If you want to sit in the beautiful beds all around, you will have to get up before sunrise. The plastic glasses are very tattered and I suggest bringing your own and if you like straws bring your own. There are no wristbands and you have to say your room number at each restaurant you go to. They are very attentive with food allergies and ask at each restaurant entry. Tappas and the Italian restaurant were wonderful. The food display was very good but is not open at 11:30 it’s open at 12:00. They should change the sign. The kids area was cool but very removed from the main area. This was fine for me we were travelling without kids. We didn’t even hear kids. The resort is very secluded and we were ok with tgat but if we brought our teenagers that would have been different. The trip was a great one! My greatest disappointment was no fault to anyone but being a beach turquoise water person.. this area I think gets the worst seaweed issues along this whole coast, I’ve seen many areas and this resort looks after it the best they can and it’s nature I know, but it broke my heart to see the sea like that. It’s hit and miss I hope it works out for your trip!
Had a good time. Upgraded rooms to swim up sweet upon arrival. Worth it. Food at the Italian restaurant was amazing. Room service was good. Bartenders and pool side services was the best part! We were told we had a butler and conceiger services however I don’t think we used it to it’s full potential as we were unsure. Pools were chilly.
