How to Get There
Excellent resort, excellent staff who go out of their way to make your stay the best. I love the location, it is more private yet only 10 miles from Playa del Carmen. I travel here multiple times per year and the Royal Haciendas never disappoints! Thank-you for a great stay!
Can’t say enough good about this resort!!!The grounds and rooms are kept impeccably clean, the service is outstanding (from housekeeping and grounds, to entertainment and food/beverage—special thanks to Chris, Roman, Xochil, and Arturo at the Rotunda Bar and especially David Chimal at the pool!), the food is delicious (try the sushi at the Rotunda, the poolside hibachi, or the grilled fish tacos at the Luna and/or Sol Grill(s)!—all included in the very reasonable price of admission!!! Had to return home but will choose to return to the Royal Haciendas!!!
The experience overall was was very pleasing. The room, drinks, service, grounds, activities, etc. were above average. The restaurant Los Morales, is top notch. Even though it says tips are included, expect to tip. Due to their quality of service (you will be rewarded by their appreciation).
We just spent two blissful weeks at the royal Haciendas. This was our second visit and we absolutely loved it: from the location, to the layout of the place, to the spa (which was amazing) to the staff who were outstanding, to the food, which was consistently delightful. We can't thank enough the talented staff who provided excellent and professional service during our stay: Alex, our concierge, Naftali, Edwin, and David our servers, Adelaida Amado, our housekeeper (made beautiful towel animals), Maribel,( the best omelet chef, on the planet), the aquatic staff: Alfredo, and the rest of the team were fantastic. What makes this place so great is not only it's accommodations but the amazing collection of staff, who go out of their way to make your stay incredible. The only improvement we could suggest is a wider choice of English channels and possibly adding Netflix as an option. But then again are you really there to watch TV?
Just finished up staying at RH for 9 days. I am not a time share owner and I booked directly throught he RH website. Check in was a breeze. Sicnce we are stying more than a week we had to change rooms on Saturday. We knew this going in and it was explained again at the time of check in. Wasnt really a big deal. We stayed in a one bedroom suite onteh 4th floor of building B. The rooms were very clean. Beds were comfy and the kids enjoyesd the murphy beds. Highjly recommend the pool bars for lunch. Hibachi by the pool was our favorite dinner meals (have tto make a reservation in the buffet for it). Overall service was great. I would definitly visit again and I would definilty consider staying at another one of the royal resorts.
